Fruit Kebabs

This is easy as - and it is an enticing way to eat fruit. Obviously you can improvise with whatever fruit you have. Lovely at any gathering, with the one soaked in orange juice for the kids and the other for the adults. Or it would be less messy and just as delicious to serve these without soaking (no dripping).

Ready in 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients

Serves: 8

1 package strawberries

1 package blackberries

a couple of bunches of grapes (about 250g)

12 wooden skewers

100ml of orange juice or cointreau or triple sec

Preparation method

Prep: 30 minutes : Cool: 1 hour

1. Wash and drain all the fruit and soak the strawberries in either the juice or liqueur for about 30 mins or as long as you can. Reserve the liquid.

2. Cut the skewers in half with scissors and thread the fruit on to the half skewers. I mix it up so some are all one fruit and some are a mix of fruit.

3. Arrange on the serving plate or bowl and pour the liquid (the juice or grog) over all the kebabs.

4. Chill for an hour or so before serving.
