My friend, has an 8 month old golden doodle, and said her glasses she uses for driving at night were ALL GONE. The doggie did it :o)

My kids could and did legitimately say that the rabbit ate thier homework! It was turned in with all the chew marks and missing pieces, and a note from mom! It was a workbook page or something that they couldn't just re-write! At least it was still legible.

I believe it...Georgy eats everything in sight. I borrowed a book from a friend and she ate the cover. Had to buy a new book. I had a library book and set it on the floor, left the room for 30 seconds. Had to buy a new library book. I am constantly removing obstacles from her mouth. Loves pens, pencils, golf balls, paper towels...she'll eat almost anything but when I try to give her a ginger snap to settle her stomach so she can ride in the car, she refuses to eat it. I guess we have to train ourselves better so we don't leave anything lying around.

Since Ole Joyful isn't around today, I'll ask--did that bill give CeCe gas?

I'm sure CeCe will make it up to you with purrs.

The gas company may not be happy with letting your account go into arrears, and charging you a late fee on your next bill. I suggest that you call the gas company (customer service, or billing) and explain that a pet mangled the bill. Likely, they will inform you of the amount and where to mail the payment. When you make this call, it would be prudent if you could have a past bill in hand to retrieve information such as an account number.

Expect to be "encouraged" to change to automatic payment directly from your bank account. You'll probably want to resist this.

yep ,my girl kittie, Shadow chews up paper if she thinks I do not pay her sufficient attention.
If I am cooking and have to keep shoo-ing her away, she will find something and start tearing it up...but only when she's mad at me!

LOL...I always pay my bill by phone, so it won't be a problem!

I guess life is never dull if you have critters,huh?

And then there is Princess Posie who will eat a yard stick or any dress making patterns that are left un-attended!!

Can you phone the gas co. and pay by credit card?

As I'm a senior, the bank doesn't charge me a fee when I pay my utility, credit card (issued by them) and other major bills there.

I imagine if you call the gas co. to find out the amount owing and take an earlier bill in to the bank, if you can pay through them, they'll write the amount that you're paying this time, initial it and stamp it.

We can't pay utility bills at their office any more - must send a cheque, pay at the bank, etc.
