Since the hurricane I'm getting tons of postings from Tri=state weather, dealing with the clean up, helpful tips, everyday postings from the Governor, etc. While it is informative, it's just too much! It's not listed as a "friend", so can't un=friend it. what to do, so many pictures of the devastation! Getting kind of annoyed.

I have not been getting that. Could it be someone you are friends with "sharing" posts?

Any news yet on rescheduling surgery?

You must have Liked that page by accident. Go to the Tri-State Weather page on Facebook and "unlike" it by clicking on the button that says "Liked". A little list will pop up and click on Unlike. I will try to link to it below.

Click on your name in the upper right hand corner and see if your post shows on your timeline. Also click on the your ACTIVITY LOG and see if your post shows on that. If it doesn't, your words didn't get posted at all. I have posted on threads and have it not show up, and I've had to go back and repost. Make sure you hit enter after you have typed your response. But I have had some disappear!

Go to your homepage (or whatever they call it --the page that has 'your' personal information not your friend's updates). Copy that link for her, or she can copy her link for you. Your name and probably a number will be part of the link. If you don't have your settings set too privately hopefully that should work.

Or...you can go to the persons personal FB page and next to the Friends/Message boxes, you'll see a little wheel/gear thing. Click that and in the drop down box, the last thing listed is Report/Block.

Move your mouse over to the top right of one of their pictures/posts, an opaque box should pop up, click on that and "Hide" the message. Then a link should come up that asks if you want to "hide all by Tri-State", click on that and you should stop getting them.
