Well, the good news is, I got called for a job this afternoon.

The bad news is, I got called for a job this afternoon.

LoL

No, not really bad news, but I was enjoying my time off!

Funny thing, it was for the first job I interviewed for, back in September as a preschool teacher.

I go pick up paperwork tomorrow, and start on Monday.

Kristi, just thought I should mention the Kordes perfume-fest Parole, aka Buxom Beauty. Was introduced to the USA in 2008, so it may have gone under your radar. Apart from its names (Jailbait/Dumpling - yeah, good work there, Kordes Marketing Dept), this deep cerise pink rose is pretty near perfect - no spray requirements, beautiful high-centred flowers with substantial petals (HUGE blooms in cooler weather), nicely productive with a fragrance that is really intoxicating and waft-y, richly sweet but sophisticated. No cold cream or myrrh. And it cuts like a dream. I'm up to six of these. They're my battery hens for vase filling. Just sayin'.

John my image above is a screenshot from my Office Outlook which is very different from the free Outlook. Do you save many emails? If you are a casual saver then you could copy the email contents and paste into a word processing program. Every PC has Wordpad installed if you have nothing better. You could right click on My documents and create a new folder to save them in. Just a thought. If you are like one lady I know that would not work, she has around 3000 emails with over 1000 unread. Seems like built in aggravation to me but to each his/her own I suppose.

I agree with FM on 1 and 3 but think that 2 is an aster, what used to be called Aster cordifolius , but is now called Symphyotrichum cordifolium AKA heart-leafed aster AKA wood aster. It's a common wild plant here in New England that blooms with a froth of pale purple/blue/white in the fall and then seeds around everwhere. Easiest to pull up when still young.

I'll just put a cap on my truck with grow lights wired into it & be homeless, driving around w/all my plants in the back. Every morning I'll slide the back cab window open tell them all how much I love them. Don't worry, I'll tell them. Dont think of it as being homeless- think of it as going on an adventure! A safari on tour!! Yeah, that's it- I can pull off the side of the highway each day in a different place & charge admission for onlookers to view my "Wild & winderful world of tropicals & succulents!" Anyone wanna join me? We can quit our jobs, pool our resources, even sell props...& use the money for funding our next trip...and more plants...Wow- I think I have inhaled too much perlite dust & it's gone to my head.

Congrats! I know exactly how you feel! I was off for 15 months. I did have some money coming in from consulting work but didn't have much left over after healthcare costs. I started back two weeks ago and really, really dreaded it. But, turns out I love the job and the stress level is far less than the job I left last year. Far less.

The new job involved 4.5 months of interviews (seven of them) ... I couldn't believe after all the candidates, they went with an old broad (me) instead of the 30-something crowd, but I'm thrilled they took a chance.
