What's for dinner 11/5?

Brrr--I had to turn the heat on today. I just couldn't get warm. The high at our house was 60. Low is supposed to be 38. And even colder tomorrow. Bummer!!

Tonight is soup (tomato w/garlic and basil) and a sandwich. How's your weather and what's for dinner at your house?

Pork chops, stuffing, wild rice, probably corn and applesauce.
There is cherry dessert pizza if anyone is still hungry.

it's COLD here in orlando patti! right now 65 at 5:45pm, tonight 55 :-0 we just had an Olive Garden knock-off recipe of Pasta Fagoli....yummmm...forgot all about the artichoke thou lol! ~ liz

I am not fixing supper again tonight, so I had a peanut butter sandwich, a glass of milk and a glass of V-8 juice and will have some hot tea before I leave my kitchen. I asked my husband what he wanted for supper and he said nothing, he just wanted pie, so pie it is for him! Sue

Here I go, using KT recipes.... Jae tn's Wet burritos, cole slaw, and Pixiestix's Hot milk cake. The cake will have strawberries or peaches with it. We are also having beergaritas!! (Have you ever had the latter? Pretty good.)

Suthin Fried Chicken, Mashed potato's...canned green beans from the garden and Kings Hawaiian sweet rolls...so much for our diet around here...but it sure was nice and we'll have leftovers for tomorrow!! It's hard to have two oldies on a diet and a 19 year old skinny as a rail who can eat anything and has been begging for some suthin fried chicken...so I gave in to his begging tonight!

HA Patti! If your (and everyone else's) ears are burning, it not Luckygardner and I!!! We're getting together Tomorrow!!! Yipppeeee! So, tomorrow, YES your ears will be burning! Hahahahahhaha I came home from a business meeting today and my next door neighbour (the one who is always giving us homemade rolls, muffins, and other baked goods), knocked on the door with some homemade soup. It's ugly, wet, snowy weather here today, so the soup sounded good. I should have known. She likes it *fiery* hot! Lots of jalepeno peppers. Good grief, my eyes were watering, and my throat burned. The woman is 85 and doesn't get heartburn or anything. She loves her food hot and spicy. We couldn't eat it all...:(

Just finished burgers made with hamburger and pork combined. Roasted potatoes and a salad. The burgers were awesome!

Country style ribs "bbq-ed" in the oven and some boiled baby red potatoes (boiled in crab boil)

I've got a pot of red beans with andouille sausage simmering for our supper. We'll have it over rice and with some southern skillet cornbread.

It's chilly in central Alabama at 49 degrees with an expected low of 29. Brrr. It's definitely comfort food weather.

Darn you had to mention Tomato Basil Soup. Yum!

Home made chicken noodle soup. It is heavy wet mist(kind that gets you very wet) and warm at 48 degrees .

Another Amish dinner. This time it was a beef dinner. Desserts were cherry pie, peanut butter pie, and date/nut pudding/cake with freshly made whipped cream.

It was 39 degrees when I got up this morning & the heat came on. But then...It was a gorgeous day! 60 something....went jogging in shorts, layed in the sun on the deck with my new chaise lounge pillows...:0)

Leftover green chile smothered nachos & peach cobbler for dessert. YUM!

It was real cold here (I'm a bit north of Atlanta) today, it even sleeted briefly! We had breakfast for dinner... scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, wheat toast with butter.

Well, well Ms Vicki7..your probably just outside my back door! I can relate because I'm a probably a bit north more of Atlanta and it's cold up here in NW GA!

Attempted to make chicken and dumplings for HD as he is a little under the weather today! They were good, but YIKES the dumplings cooked all to pieces...wonder if I can add more dumplings when I reheat it?
