IHOP has always put pancake batter in the scrambled eggs and omelets. If you want fresh eggs order fried ones. A lot of the breakfast stuff is precooked somewhat. I always order ham browned on both sides to make sure my meat actually see the grill. Not really fond of their breakfast anyway. Crepes are OK but only because of the lingonberry butter. Otherwise I find them underdone. Real crepes are cooked on both sides and have brown spots IMO. They do do some none breakfast items well. Burgers are good and the Tuscan chicken sandwich is excellent. I only eat there late at night when everything else is closed. Not a place I would seek out but it's convenient, clean and predictable.

Sounds like some kid whose school cannot afford to teach them about computers, or he would have known where the money is. So sorry this happened to you. What a mess. As Annie said, it is the violation of your personal space as much or even more than the loss of stuff. Of course, if the stuff has personal meaning and is irreplaceable, that is a horrible feeling, too. I had a ring stolen from my house that had been my great aunt's, and I feel sick about it to this day. Good idea to put the bars up, distasteful as they are. We've had a lot of house burglaries around here, including one on my street. Ick.

Awwww, thanks for all your nice comments! Although our MBR and bath are done in a romantic style, it's fun to bring that into another part of our home, if only for a couple of weeks each February (and at Christmas, too). Artlover: I'm an art lover, too! I'll be looking for your After pics of the remodel someday soon. Oopsie: that's an interesting bit of info I'll definitely use. I've gotten in the habit over the years, of putting the veggies in front, in hopes my kids will eat them without my constant reminders ;^D They're older now, so no need for that anymore (LOL)! Red, thanks . . . it's always great hearing from you! V-rn: I know!!! And all that time you were wondering WHY they were trying to take away your full plates of food! I'll be chuckling about that all morning . . . too funny! Jlc, yes, it does pay off ;^D None of these recipes comes from her, but Rachel Ray has a lot of good dinner menus that don't take a lot of time ~ or a gazillion pans! Md: actually, isn't "bream" some kind of ocean life that certain whales eat? Plankton? Hmmmm, it sounds familiar, but "my bream" is, sadly, only too fast typing by someone who never learned how to type in the first place (ROFLAO!) Lynn

Your pine tree will likely survive, but its appearance will be affected. If it were a spruce, it would correct its shape in 10 to 15 years. Lightening took the top 10 ft out of one my spruce trees. For the next 5 years, it developed a ring of linbs at the very top and made a nesting platform for owls. An then, one year, one of the limbs in the top tier began to turn upward and after 2 years was pointing straight up. It became the main trunk and 10 years after the hit, the tree appears normal to the casual observer, but one who is practiced in reading tree growth can make a good guess about prior damage. But for landscaping purposes, it has made the repair and needed 10 to 12 years to do it.
