I just spoke with ntt I am thinking of restaurants along 45 area that are not terribly noisy. I know on FM 1960 West off of 45 there's a Pappas bbq that is large and usually pretty quiet also just down from there on 1960 is a Black eye peas restaurant also quiet.
I don't know about reservations but it would be a good idea to try to do that. I am happy to help if needed.

The Pappas BBQ at Airline & Crosstimbers? Sorry, not going into that area of town -- Ever! Even to meet you nice ladies. The other Pappas on 45 is in The Woodlands, that may be too far. Terilyn will not be going with us afterall. Let me know what you decide.

I have no plans ever....any time or place is fine with me. Make it easy on yourselves. I concur about Airline and Crosstimbers though. I don't even like going thru there in the day time, much less at night.

NO the Pappas bbq as I said on FM 1960 west just off of 45 it is very centrally located. I did not mention crosstimbers I have no idea where that is even.

From I 45 you turn WEST on 1960 go maybe a mile or so and it is on the left side of the road.

Which is also on FM 1960 WEST (now also called CypressCreek Parkway) less than a mile off 45, go west and then turn right or north onto Cypress Station Drive.

I Know Nita wanted places that were not really noisy so we can visit so that is what I am basing the search on and also Ntt said that it was supposed to be near I-45 since Nita is going to be coming on I-45.
There are of course a ton of restaurants along there but on Saturday evening places like Texas Roadhouse and Chilis and Cheddars etc those kind of places will be very full and loud.

Any other suggestions anyone can think of? Those are ones I am familiar with.

Oh another place that is right off of 45 and 1960 is Lasagna House which I have heard is good but have not been there I have been to the sister restaurant Hasta la Pasta and it was great.

Since I have not been there I did call them and they said they can have an area set aside for us if we want it I had asked for between 7-10 people and around 6:30 she also said they are not a loud restaurant.
So that is also an option she said just to call her back and let her know if we want to keep it.

You can get to this one from the I-45 service road past 1960 turn on Bammel Road or turn onto 1960 West go down and make the turn around to head back East and then take Bammel Road to the right.

Oh you are making me homesick for the area we lived in when we lived in Houston, Sadly we moved from there in 1985. Now in Georgia. I know that the FM 1960 area has grown since the days when we lived there. Thanks for the memories.

Raven, Lasagna House sounds like a good place to meet. If reservation is already done, why don't we just keep it if that's alright with everyone.

Okay, we are going with Raven's reservation at the Lasagne House. The only change is that we will be meeting at 7PM.

I talked to the restaurant and we are now going to be at 7pm and I just left it under Nita Foster since that is the name she had posted here.

Sigh.... Looks like, I'm going to miss out this time of our gathering. I went to bed with a soar throat last night. Got up this morning with sneezing and nose running. Sounds like a bad cold and my body is fighting. I think the drastic change in weather got to me. I'm sorry ladies.

If I feel better tomorrow and the rain stopped around meeting time, I'll try to be there. Otherwise, I'll miss you all. But please don't forget me the next time.

I understand, the weather sure is not helping with health, hot then cold and lots of rain and humidity. I hope you start to feel better and make it. As I told you on the phone I have this stupid cough which I think is one of the new meds but the weather isn't helping that either.

Well a fun time was had by all! Sure was great to see everyone again. Especially Nita and Mike, two of the nicest people! As Mike said this is becoming a yearly event and we definitely are happy to be a part of it.
Marilyn had pictures of the new horse and the donkeys and of course wonderful animal stories.
Brat was just as entertaining and funny as always, and I might hate her just a little because of her fabulous vacation she was on recently. She did one of my bucket list things.

Unfortunately ntt didn't make it.

Next year! Oh and the restaurant was excellent, it is going on our list of regulars. I had the special of the night seafood fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, crawfish, and fresh mussels. The garlic bread was a meal in itself.

We were enjoying the food and company too much we never took any.

Glad to know that everyone had a great time. Of course, I wished I could be there. I'm still feeling out of wack and this cold weather isn't helping. I'm already looking forward to next gathering.
