Clockwork Orange, when I was about 7 or so. We went to one of those drive ins that had four different screens and obviously went in the wrong direction.
It wasn't too long before we realized we were in the wrong place, but long enough for me to still be traumatized, 40 years later, by what little of the graphic images I *did* see.

Tree of Wooden Clogs. The worst. Yes, I know it won tons of awards. I only went to see it on a recommendation of a good friend. When I told him that me and my friends who saw it, thought it sucked, he laughed and said he agreed and sent people to it as a joke. There's no hero, no antagonist, and no great wrong that gets set right. It was bits and pieces of film sliced together in a looong sloooow timeline.

I agree about Clockwork Orange. I was an adult when I saw it and thought it was very violent and confusing.

"The Umbreallas of Cherborg" Time magazine highly recommended it. We were young and set off to see a wonderful movie. The entire dialog is song, and I still remember they took their car to be fixed, and all the singing about needing to replace the carberator, or whatever. Just dumb. And it won all sorts of awards too.

Napolean Dynamite, Zoolander, Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (Bill Murray movie). I just thought these movies were so stupid. I know just about everyone loved Napolean Dynamite but I just could hardly manage to sit through it. I just didn't get it I guess.

"Vanilla Sky"....what a senseless, stupid, droll, boring, insipid and pointless movie. No plot, rhyme or reason, content or context. Can Tom cruise act? No, he can't. Pathetic. I think that was the straw that broke the camels back for me...after that movie I realized how ridiculous TC really is. He makes about as much sense and holds about as much water in his attempts to be an 'actor' as that movie did in its' attempt to be a 'film'. To even do a movie like that and expect people to buy into that crap is insulting. Oh...did I mention how bad I thought it was? I got through about 1 hour and shut the DVD player off. What a waste of a precious hour that was.

Catch 22! My DF and I stayed up one nite to watch it. After about 10 minutes we both agreed it was really dumb, but what if it got better? It never did and I could never make any sense of it.

Eyes Wide Shut. I'd explain the movie but someone would have to explain it to me first. Ditto to Twelve Monkeys.

Frauds. A weird movie with Phil Collins (from Genesis). I saw that one on television. It was very strange and creeped me out.

Rem Lazar! I rented it when kids were little, about 20 years ago. Kids and DH will never let me live that one down! "Don't let Mom rent any movies, she'll get another Rem Lazar!"

Clockwork Orange. I saw it as an adult, BF wanted to see it.

mmmm...as a movie lover I'm gonna have to give this one some thought...I've tried my hardest to understand the "Matrix" series and didn't get them...not they were bad...just over my head I guess...The "Scream" movies were way to gory...so I guess I'll say any of the gore movies don't get my time..."Scream"..."Freddie Krueger"...they just don't seem worth the watch...I wanna be entertained...not grossed out or scared shitle@@ where I don't sleep well for several days!...

Gosh, Clockwork Orange is a masterpiece! Although, I admit it's not for kids. And, Vanilla Sky is one of my all time favorites! A great and different type of love story. I thought Tom Cruise (who I generally despise) perfectly played his character. I guess different strokes for different folks.

I seem to forget bad movies. I remember turning off "Grease 2" a while ago; it was so bad, I couldn't even finish watching it.

This very pregnant woman sat by the inflatable kiddie pool in the trailer park, and griped for the most part of the show. She was also in the trailer part of the time.

We all still can't believe we watched the whole show. LOL

A Star Is Born with Barbra Streisand and Kris K. It was so awful and neither one of the stars was right for the role. It was one of those gems that didn't need to be remade especially with those two and Barbra's direction was terrible.

The original with Janet Gaynor and the one with Judy Garland were both wonderful. Probably one of the few remakes that didn't actually spoil the original.

I see they've made/are making a remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still. I tend to stay away from remakes anymore as they usually completely vary from the original, are badly acted, poorly directed, etc.

Straw Dogs - LOL I went to see The Graduate when I was a teenager - my frist "adult rated" movie and this was part of the double feature. Different as night and day. Straw Dogs was a horrible, horrible gross, violent movie and I had to leave and sit in the lobby.

Eyes Wide Shut was another. I have seen so many bad or bizzare movies for free over the years while my friend managed a movie theatre that I can't begin to recall their names. LOL

Oooh another was Horse Whisperer. After the first scene I walked out. I know it was just a movie but the image of those horses being hurt was more than I could bear. I read the book and liked it but not the movie.

"Eye of the Beholder" with Ashley Judd and Ewan McGregor. This movie was sooo bad. It was about a private investigator who has a crush on a woman he's been following. She's a serial killer and he's falling for her and she never even knows it. It was so stupid and pathetic and sick and boring, I can't believe we wasted an hour and a half on it. There's a week in my life I'll never get back!

It's sad that so many movies are made to appeal to the dumbest among us, don't you find? It seems that if there is any amount of thought required, 80% of the movie viewing public won't get it, it has to be so blatantly stupid or obvious that even the person with the lowest IQ can grasp the ideas behind the movie.
For that reason I rarely go to a movie. In fact I got a gift card last Christmas for 2 admissions and 2 sets of treats that I have still to use, guess I best do so before the thing expires.

Le Divorce, with Kate Hudson. I have liked any other movie that I have seen with her in it. This one was just horrible though. Blah!

Bable, with Brad Pitt. DH and I both hated it.

Lost in Translation - it got many rave reviews, I hated it.

Little Man - bad, real real bad.

I usually forget about the bad ones. Usually I'll suffer through it but the only movie I ever walked out of was Dancing with Wolves. We were there about 15-20 minutes and I said enough. We wanted to see a movie that night so we went to, I think it was Bachelor Party.

Another one that others like but I've never really figured out was Blade Runner. It usually is so boring I fall asleep.

Give me something with some comedy and/or action.

The other one that I didn't think much of was with Will Smith, a western and I can't remember the name. Had the crippled guy that became a mechanical spider. It was rated argh! and approached "stoopid".

O Brother, Where Art Thou!!! We rented this DVD and turned it off after about 20 minutes. I have heard people rave about this movie, but it did nothing for me and I hated it.

I really didn't like Proof. Turned it off after 20 minutes...I just couldn't get through it.

That was "Wild, Wild West", Cynic. And it was pretty lame, they didn't get close to topping the original series. I just loved Ross Martin, he played the very clever and very funny Artemis Gordon. And of course, Robert Conrad as James West. He was such a cute little guy! That was a great show for its time, I'll still watch reruns of the series if I find them on. Even the theme music was good.

The worst for me was the original "Night of the Living Dead". My husband and I saw this at a drive-in and we managed to stay through most of the movie, but finally had to leave it was so bad. And I think there have been several new re-makes in color since then. No thanks, the black and white was bad enough.

I loved Catch 22. But then I like most weird stuff others don't.
