I can't send a post to myself....

Via Email. I've done this before when I really liked someones post and then I could send it along to others. I've tried to email one of the joke posts to myself, but I don't get it. I checked 'my page' and it still lists my email address, so I don't know whats wrong.

Why not just copy and past it into "wordPad" then save it?

Couldn't agree with you more. In your case, you really have nothing to lose - you have the space, you get cool plants for free, minimal effort. It's just a waiting game. Let's face it, waiting for gratification has become a lost art so-to-speak. I know, I know we've had this conversation countless times before on this forum BS vs. smaller plants or parts of plants and to each his own, but I'm with you. I love the process and the process makes the reward all that much sweeter. I do the some thing with my garden plants. Last year I did a seed trade with a guy in England for some martagon lilies. Planted the seedling out last spring and now I only have about 7 years to wait for the first flowers. Love it! Kevin

You asked what behaviors. I think the dog is female from what dh has said. She barks a lot and for no reason. I think that could be dealt unless the dog is like moms and has supersonic hearing and tears out of the room barking at a sound no one else hears. They have a baby and the dog wakes the baby. One time they were on vacation and took the dog. They have 5 little girls - under the age of 6. Mom got out to go into the store and buy stuff for their rented cabin. The minute she opened the door, the dog was out and running. Straight into the store. Mom freaked and dad had to chase the dog all over the store. It was really funny to hear him tell it, but he was so embarrassed and mad too. It digs, but that happens with dogs. They have a pool and it jumps in and can't get out. We don't have a pool so no problem there. It chews up the kids stuffed animals and pillows, and seems to prefer those over its own toys. The main reason they can't keep it is because it nipped the baby and then knocked her over (she was crawling so not hurt, but still).

I didn't hesitate. I went straight to the site and purchased. I think children should learn to appreciate things like this. When I was very young my DGM bought a set of Raggedy Ann & Andy china for me. I felt so special when I was at her home and I had my very own china. My DM bought special china for my DS when she was traveling in Germany so that continued the tradition. Now as a grandmother myself I have to keep the tradition going. I have a set of Dapper Animal plates that my DGSs use when they are at my house but these bunnies were too cute to pass up. Romy and BL the plates are just too adorable to not have for that special little one. Natebear, I thought of LL when I saw them. I know she loves bunnies!

I'm so sorry. I was in your shoes this time last year. I knew our almost 13 year old German Shorthair Pointer was at the end of his life, and I was thinking I'd wait until after Christmas, but I realized that I needed to do it the right thing for him even though it was hard for me. We put him down on Dec. 17. :( I probably waited a bit too long, and I didn't realize how much stress I'd been under thinking about whether or not it was the right time until he was gone. There was almost a sense of relief. Missing him wasn't as difficult as wondering and worrying about whether or not I was doing the right thing. We all still miss him terribly, though. When the time comes, I highly recommend getting a vet to come to your house. It was so peaceful and less stressful than taking him to the office.

I don't think the email function is working (again). I tried sending a post to myself a little after noon and now at nearly 330 it still hasn't arrived. Either the email or the clip function is not working.

I think that Dottie said she can't copy and paste (at least I think it was Dottie), if you email me with which joke it was I'll be happy to send it to you. goodnews at travelleaders.com

I emailed your post to both my member name and to my email addy. Both came through, but they took about an hour to arrive in my 'IN' box.

Have you tried it both ways...using your email address, and using your member name?

Yes, lynn, I'm the one who isn't all that computer savvy. I don't know how to cut and paste.

What I did with the joke was copy it long hand, then re=typed it to send it as an email to a couple folks.

I just open a blank email copy and paste what ever it is I want into the blank email then just address the email back to myself, hit send. Then I can forward it or save it.
