First of all, I am not affiliated at all with this company! I'm not even sure how I learned about it but it sure works for me. It's Puretalk and it is a flat $10/mo. for 205 minutes. If you don't use them, they roll over and you can buy a higher plan if you need it. The plan is endorsed by Dave Ramsey, the financial guru, and many others including AARP, I think. And, it's no contract so you can cancel at anytime.

Anyway, saves me lots of money because I can't get coverage at home and only wanted a cell phone for when I go out. Here is a link:

That looks like a good deal!

I've been using Tracfone. I think it's $20 for 90 days service with 60 minutes. I never use up the minutes and have accumulated way more than I'll ever use.

correction.........it is 101 minutes, not 205. also, you can add on a second line that gets 50 minutes for another $5.

I was looking over my statement, "I have no interest in someone being able to pinpoint the exact spot where I took the photo.", and realized that it might have sounded rude to the posters here at the GP. It was nothing personal or aimed at anyone. I realize that the photos posted here at GW, can be used by google in their image search engine, therefore they can be seen by millions of people.

Our daughter had the Alltel internet service and she didn't like it....kept getting disconnected. What we did, was drop our landlines and got wireless internet service. All I needed on my computer was a network card. I have a small antenna on my roof, it plugs into the network card, or in my case, into my router and I can have my 3 computers online at once. We now have 2 cell phones, faster wireless internet and saving about $40 a month. (we had 3 phone lines + my cell phone). and we had our home phone numbers ported to our cell phones.

Verizon doesn't use SIM cards. The SIM cards are for GSM service, which is used by AT&T. I'm not familiar with the Chocolate phone, but on my Nokia 6126, if I want to assign a ringtone or graphic to someone, when I push the appropriate button to get to the tones/graphics, there will be some choices. My ringtones and graphics that are on my MicroSD card are all in a folder named Lindsey's. Are you seeing folders that you can open? If so, scroll down through them, opening each one until you find the one with your ringtones.

As I always try to point out when people start endorsing phone companies, you need to know whether the converage is going to meet your needs. This one is GSM coverage and prepaid GSM in my travel areas is not the best which is why I changed phones.

The good thing about it is you can try it and not get zapped by contracts and cancellation fees if it doesn't meet your needs.
