Absolutely nothing! I'm up way too early considering I didn't go to bed until after 12:30 this morning. I'm in my comfy flannel pj bottoms and a t-shirt and wearing slippers (I never wear slippers lol), drinking my first coffee and plan on sitting here all day to waste the day away. I may do some scrap booking today. I have a lot of pages to do, as I've been working on one particular album off and on for 2 years and really don't have much done at all.

Visiting cousins down here in TN. Take a ride around to see the old family farm and other places I haven't seen in almost 20 years.

I'm resting up!!! Since Wednesday we've had DH's brother and friend John staying with us. They went to Winter Haven today to visit friends and will be back tomorrow. Then John has to have back surgery at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville on Wednesday and so we'll take them over on Tuesday and wait til after the surgery and bring DH's brother home with us. He's legally blind (mostly blind) so he can't drive. He'll stay with us until John gets out and then they'll both be back til who knows when until he can drive. In the meantime, DD and family will be coming for T-giving. We will have to take them to a motel because we just don't have room for seven people for overnight.

Well, THAT turned into a much longer saga than I meant. But you know what they say about company--after three days----

Finally my kids are coming to help move furniture out of the garage! I'm excited! We might be able to use the garage this winter.

I'm not looking forward to the job, but I can't wait till it's done. Then, for dinner we'll eat the lasagne and meatballs I made yesterday.

Not too much as I have come down with a darn cold. I do have to bake some kind of sweet bread to have on hand when DBIL stops by tomorrow on his way home from deer hunting. It sounds like he and his party didn't get lucky in the woods, so I guess that means the deer did. LOL Dottie.

plan A is to get the kitchen cleaned....My foot is feeling pretty good today..so I need to get some work done...but when it feels good and I'm up on it...then it starts hurting bad again...then I'll be back to plan B...sitting with my feet up wishing I would have skipped plan A

I imagine if this doesn't get better soon I have to call the Doc...darn it .....I hate going to the doctor.

So far...not much! LOL I need to make a quick trip through the house and remove about a pound of Dust!! "/ Wrote out our Thanksgiving menu and gave each of the girls their list of 'donations'!

We are babysitting 'Babycakes' ("adopted" by us toddler) this afternoon through tomorrow morning. Looking forward to lots of giggles from her! I am sure by the time 7:30 comes around tonight, I will be ready to put her in her bed. Caryn will be here most of the time Babycakes is here...she is 'Aunty Caryn'.

I picked up all the makings for Veggie soup last night, so I may start to put that together also. Mmmm With a fresh loaf of bread.

Not sure what tomorrow will bring.

Relaxing until this afternoon. The kids and I are meeting a friend from work, her daughter and granddaughter at a pizza place in Lexington so the kids can all meet. The friend and her granddaughter are going with us to France and Germany next summer and her granddaughter wanted to meet the kids. Alex's friend is going with us on the trip but is having a birthday dinner with his family tonight so he won't be going with us.

After that, I'm coming home and reading a book Lauren's been trying to get me to read for weeks now. It's called "Someone Named Eva". It's about a young girl who was indoctrinated into Nazi Germany against her will. It's supposed to be based on the story of several women who went through a similar thing, starts in Czechoslovakia where she is from. I started the book this morning. Lauren rechecked it out of the library so I could read it. She's really interested in Nazi Germany for some reason right now. She read Anne Frank's diary too last year and wanted to go to the house where she had lived in hiding, but we won't be going to Amsterdam on our trip. We are going to one concentration camp, Dachau, though.

Nothing happening here in SW. Pa...It's a dreary, rainy, chilly day and expected to get colder...The house is in order, or as much as it's going to be...DH will be watching football all afternoon and probably evening and I just might try to work on some quilting projects...Nice to have these kind of days!

I've got Carley and Jayden today while their mom picks up some OT. Jayden's a hand full. His left arm is in a cast for another week. One way to get him to stand still is to stick my little finger down in the cast and itch his arm. He almost goes to sleep standing. LOL Otherwise he's like a drop of water on a hot skillet.

Sunny but cool and windy here in Fort Worth. I have been watching the neighbors house all week and am going to clean her carpets for her this afternoon as a surprise. She has a cat that has been using her hallway as his "dumping grounds" and I have been trying everything to get him back using the box while she is away. So far he's winning. But I will keep trying.
I think he does it because she has had to travel so much lately with family illness. He's mad.

It's raining here too. I think I'm going to make some beef stew this afternoon. I also have to pick up some groceries.

Spending some downtime watching the high school finals of volleyball and then the Husker game this afternoon. The girls are at my sisters and just have Hayden and Hudson here right now. I am still in my jammies and no plan for changing today. I need to start some munchies for the game, little smokies and cheese and salsa dip. We like to have munchies for the game and then for supper while watching football.

Not feeling like doing much today...was up off and on all night with a tummy bug.
Never the less,DH and I did finish painting the family room...well DH painted and I kind of cleaned up after him.
My cousin dropped by for a coffee and we started talking about past Christmases and ended up laughing and crying.
After she left I took a long hot bath hoping I'd feel better...Not happening!!!
Have friends dropping by for a tea and chat after dinner.
Supper will be a romaine salad with poached chicken breast,and whatever I can think of to throw in.
Sure hope I feel more perky tomorrow as we plan on going for a drive and maybe drop in on old friends we haven't seen for awhile.

So far I've stripped all the wallpaper from my diningroom. I want to have it painted a nice bright colour before Christmas, since I'm hosting this year.

Well, we had DGD last night and she got picked up around 10:00 or so, we went to bank and Walmart for groceries. That about sums up what I plan on doing today. It's going to be a very lazy day and I like it that way! I might clean up my daughters room if I get motivated but that's about it...

Not much.It's hot here and we're having Santa winds this weekend,not as bad as L.A. and Santa Barbara though.Thank Goodness.

I had my 2nd chemo thursday,so not feeling too chipper,so i'll just lounge around the house,may try to work on some photo albums i started a few weeks ago.

We went to a breakfast buffet this morning and then to a bunch of yard sales. Got a bunch more junk that I love...but don't need. Did get a couple of things I needed...like another squirrel feeder.
