Talk about hot humid and you have described Mississippi. We are to hit 99 today and gonna feel like 103. I am
going to the gym to work out shortly, on to the beauty shop, back home in time for lunch. My usual salad will be waiting for me. I'll have my afternoon nap then jump on the computer to finish a Sunday School yearbook I am working on. Kinda dull day huh? Nothing ever exciting in my life any more. Just happy to get out of bed and put one foot in front of the other. I hope Harley does well and oh, how I wish I were going to rummage sales with you. There are never any good ones where I live. I probably won't do much today. Yesterday I was going from 7:30 till 10:00 pm.

I would like to go to New Braunfels for swim suit shopping but it's our tax free weekend and it will be hard to find a good parking space.

Packing for my plane trip to Buffalo to see my Mother. She's 87, so I don't know how many more visits we'll have.

I stayed in and got caught up on everything yesterday. Today I am going on a picnic with friends a few towns over. I will probably stay and visit others in the afternoon and evening depending on how much energy I have.

I should have a wonderful fun day. I'm going to visit my good friend and her husband at their cottage on a lake. Her uncle is visiting from out of town. We will go for a boat ride, have dinner and then play bridge.

I'm going to pick up hubs & my prescriptions. Our pharmacy is at our local clinic, so I have to time my trip there so I can get a fairly close parking spot. They don't have clinic hours from 12 - 1 so I go about 12:30. Then I;ll go to the library, return some books and get others plus they called yesterday and a book I had on reserve since last November was there. A James Patterson book but its been so long I don't remember the title.

Going jogging. To the jewelers to get my bracelet repaired & watch fixed. Home Depot to buy silicone, replacing glass in 2 windows tomorrow. Book is due @ the library. Change sheets on the bed. Laundry. Move phlox in the garden while it's in bloom & I can tell what color it is. Make taco salad for Brunch.

My plans..umm. Just making myself shower, do my hair and make up, major undertaking. I think I will eat at home today, bacon and eggs for breakfast with cantaloupe and toast. Later I will have a Red Baron Pizza for lunch. A very boring day.

Well, I started my day with having the plumber come. My upstairs toilet was leaking, so that is now OK. May hit a garage sale or two.....I should do some weeding, but don't feel like it, I'm afraid. After all, the weeds will still be there while I hit the sales.

I'm getting the Whooping cough vaccine. I probably spelled that wrong.
My son keeps going "Woo hoo, cough cough. Woo Hoo, cough cough". I'm about to throw something at him!

Working today, but it's pretty quiet. Might go out to the camp tonight and either sit around the campfire (if it's not raining) or start the generator and snuggle on the sofa inside and watch an old vcr movie on the little (old) tv we have out there for just such occasions :-) That is, only if it's raining of course. Gary's workplace has a family picnic tomorrow and we're planning on taking Emi and her boyfriend Josh as well as 3 grandkids! Should be fun.

Lap swim from 6:30 to 7:30am now that school is in. Water day, so I have to water the veggie gardens, that's a 3 hour chore. Then off to SG for a dog/swimming party tonight but in the meantime while I'm down there, I have to get the tires rotated, look at 2 cars I'm deciding between, finish my "homework" for my gourd class on Saturday. Cut up the cookies and put the powdered sugar on for the party tonight. And here I am at the KT instead of getting ready!! Ta..........

Mostly just puttering around. Supposed to get up to 90 this afternoon.

Was up at 6:00, went out back to pick a bunch more grapes. Cooked them down to make juice. Strained yesterday's juice and froze that. Ran the dishwasher. Chatted with DD on the phone for a while.

Have a bunch of errands to do, but our neighborhood streets are closed daytime (they're replacing the water, sewer and gas lines for several blocks in each direction), so this evening, DH and I will go to the bank, buy cat food. It's Friday night--the only evening the Canoli place in town is open, so we may treat ourselves. Pack up the car so we can get on the road to the country house as soon as he gets out of work tomorrow.

Right now I should be planning next week's menus since we're grocery shopping this afternoon. But we'll go and vote early since our primary is next Tuesday. I also have to take the monitor I bought back to Wal-Mart. All these things are in different directions :-(

Sue, how is Amber feeling? No morning sickness, I hope!

Thanks for asking Patti, Amber has a lot of burping going on :) but not a lot of upset stomach. Lots of stress right now with Harley. We got him home and he has a big incision from chest on down. It may be Wednesday before they find out the biopsy results.

on the way home, we'll hit the woodward dream cruise...woodward is a main hiway from downtown detroit, to downtown pontiac..years ago kids would cruise the "burbs" section, in the 50s-70s...the recreaton brings out every kind of car you can imagine, plus some you couldn't...they expect about 1 million people either driving or lining the streets to watch everything from vintage model t's, muscle cars, modified, and home-nmade, brand new, or soccer mini-vans like us, lol...
