We're expecting snow here up to 8 inches. So I'll just be hanging out doing some laudry and making a pot of soup.

So far, the only plan I have is to shower and dress so that I can take a self portrait of me with my husband. LOL I'm doing a 365 day self portrait challenge and am dragging him into it. LOL So far, it's 1ºC outside and we're expecting it to go up to 2ºC. I think it might get warmer as it's only 9 o'clock. I don't look at the short range forecast anymore because it changes on a daily basis. I just look at what's going on today because it's usually right. But I noticed both the short and long range forecasts change daily. I just make my plans and hope for the best.

I'm going out for dinner and then to a basketball tournament championship game with my son and a friend. This is an annual event for us, and it's very exciting.

Finished my web design classes last weekend, so now I have my weekends back again. Celebrated on Sat by doing a runaway weekend-day with DH. Went to Baltimore to see the old trains. Enjoyed it very much and the folks there were very very nice. Today I have been out in the garden all afternoon except for a short break to rest all those muscles that are going to be so sore tomorrow! Dug around in the mulch and replaced the soaker hose that I accidently sliced with my shovel last fall with shorter lengths of hose that can be more easily replaced if I do the same dumb thing again (!) Now I am going back outside to try and figure out how to attach the lawnmower bag to the lawnmower (we've never used it, but I want to recycle some old leaves into new mulch) and maybe divide some hardy geranium and bee balm into small pots for a garden club sale in May. Not done any planting out yet, because most of my seeds have only started sprouting in the last 2 weeks and are not growing very fast. I must be on the cold side of zone 6. Even my lettuce planted in Feb does not have true leaves. 'Ta for now! Lois in PA

Fed Ex just brought my new Mobal phone for our trip to Germany, so I'm going to put it together and test it out. Can't be used in the U.S. but I can call it to see if it works. I'm also making an omelete right now. I got up late today, after staying up half the night. Doing laundry, dishes. After I eat breakfast I'll work out and then run to the bank. Also have to call a scrub company about a refund they never sent me, call the company I bought my treadmill from and find out where the part I ordered and paid for is. It was supposed to be here a month ago. I'll probably have to leave yet another message and hope they call me back someday. I've been trying to fix the stupid thing for a year now. Both kids are on Spring break and over their father's now. So, I have two days off and the house to myself...well, me and Luther anyway.

dh & i went to walt disney world's epcot park for the Flower Show from 9am-3pm. beautiful day, far fewer tourists (YEAH!!!!) than normal and the severe storms held off long enough for us to get in & out of there and hit publix on the way home too. the flower show was nothing to brag about except for their nice topiary frames, i wanted to see cool unusual new plants but mostly i saw the plants we grew and shipped to disney from where i work lol. one other nice thing was that a new toll road opened recently that makes getting down to disney from winter park only 30 minutes now. nice day, glad i have a day to relax before work thou lol~ liz

I broke down and did laundry this morning. Our w/d are in the garage and it heats it up so danged bad I've been putting it off. So now everything's clean and put away. Yesterday at Wal-Mart I got Magic Erasers since they had such good reviews here. Wow! Now I know why. I cleaned everything I could think of with just one swipe. Those things really are magic!! It took no effort whatsoever to clean the cabinet fronts and the outside of all the appliances. They are my new favorite thing! Then I started cleaning the garage floor. It's painted and it was really bad. I only got the top coat of dirt off, but I was just using water, no cleaner. It looks a little better anyway. Had to use a stiff-bristle brush so I quit when I got too hot. I took about a 15 minute "power nap" and I'm going to stick a pot roast in the oven soon for dinner, peel some potatoes and carrots to cook with it and quit for the day.

Nothing.
See Paula's thread about the weather.
Yesterday, we came home from a few days in Atlantic City, and went straight to the supermarket to get in some food for a snowy, icy weekend.
Right now, the sun is shining on about 1" of snow that is melting rapidly. But, it is cold out, so I'll be doing laundry and just relaxing.

Little to nothing!? lol I have some pork chops in the crock pot will add some stuffing to it this afternoon. I am about to make some Blueberry Oat Bread in a few. I need to really go through my desk and get all my old bills organized...but that might need some thoughts, so not sure I will do that! LOL I may just stay in my pjs all day as we are expecting wind after our newly fallen snow of 5.5", it could be BAD! I can see some movies and couch time today! =)

I plan to spend most of my time between washer/dryer loads watching the birds and the snow while listening to some good down home bluegrass on the radio. Good day to stay in and contemplate.

This is my 3rd and final day of bedrest. We are celebrating Christmas again tonight since my middle son, Dusty, is home from work. We're having tamales, chips and dip.
