I saw that...MY first thought was FAKE! I'm not a big fan of children so if it's not fake it just bothers me...BAD! HA!

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I've seen kid messes before, and well, they usually start in the room the mess maker started in. IE flour would be in the kitchen, yes?

Oh my Gosh. Oh my Gosh. My oldest daughter loved vaseline. She got a hold of a super-sized jar one time. I could have used all that flour to sop up all that grease! LOL I think it took weeks before her hair was back to normal. One day I had spent a whole day Spring cleaning, washing down walls, etc. That night I went in to her bedroom and the crib slats, walls, her little sister, etc. were covered with lipstick. It could have really happened....my only question is how could those little ones carry five pounds of flour?

JMO,,To evenly laid out. Don't beleive the boys did it first. A You tube set up.

I was thinking the same thing. She sounds understandably overwhelmed........but wait! She had the presence of mind to go get the video camera.

Of course you're right. That must be why no one is allowed to comment, and it was only posted last week. The majority of people were doubting her obviously.

I think it is fake also. That is too evenly distributed to be kids.

I made the mistake of throwing away the disposable paintbrushes in the trash after I had finished painting. My two youngest kids got them out and painted splotches on furniture, doors and walls bright green. I was able to remove most of it, but I learned my lesson after that. I got in trouble with the kids for not ever letting them paint anything.

This was on one of the morning news shows today. They said they called the mother and she confirmed that it's not fake. I think the reaction of the kids is too real to be faked. Little kids are not good fakers, as we all know.

The premise is really funny but it has to be fake. If it were me I would certainly NOT be saying "Oh Boy....OOOOHHHHH BBBBOOOOY" in such a calm way. What I would be screeching would not be fit for You Tube!

The kids got the last of the bag to throw out so they THINK they did it.

It would take a long time to make that big a mess.....where was mom?

I looked at it again and it's absolutely fake! There's no way those tiny little boys could have sprinked flour that neatly. If you watch them in the video, they are just dumping it on their heads and rolling in it. You would have to have taken it in your hands and consciously sprinkled it evenly over all inches of the sofas and floor. Those kids were too small to be that coordinated.

I think I would be sick too.

I agree with toni ne...to laid out in perfect patterns across the back of the couch etc...they are having a blast but I am sure they didn't create that mess.

Saw this last night. There were comments then, in fact I even commented about it. The majority of the comments also implied that it was fake.

I babysat monsters and they kept the mess in the kitchen where they found the flour, sugar and rice.
Those boys are not tall enough to sprinkle flour so evenly over the sofas!

If it is real, could have been matches they found. It would have taken them a long time to do that. Where was Mom? She didn't see to upset.

I think it's fake also. If something like that happened to me I sure wouldn't think the first thing I should do is get
the camera. Where was mom when all of this was taking place? Anymore I think most things I see are staged...

I agree it looks staged, especially the couches.... too "perfect". The boys are having fun just sliding it around on the floor. I don't think they would have felt it to be "fun" just to scatter it around all over the place.

It has over 1.3 million Youtube views.... guessing that was her "goal": viral video.

It may or may not have been staged, and little boys that size can climb on furniture and fling flour to the heights shown. But mommy was too calm. In a real situation, mommy would have been either screeching or crying. In any case, its a mess.

A good vacuum cleaner should be able to suck up most of it, but heaven help her if any got wet or even damp. That stuff turns into paste with moisture.

They were on the Today Show, she said that she was under the weather and was in the bathroom for less than 5 minutes. Really? Less than 5 minutes to do all of that? And as already mentioned, it would not have been done quietly, there would be running and laughing going on. DSon't believe her at all.

I was hoping someone would chime in, as to her "defending" herself. Did the interviewer ask some probing questions, and put her on the spot??

The video says that she had to "stay in the bathroom longer than usual." yet today she said she was only in there 5 minutes?

I'd like to see if she could get all that flour back into a 5 lb. flour sack. JMO but, that looks like way too much flour be be only 5 lbs.

And the front door... the *ridge* where the windows are... covered with flour. That had to be POURED on there. Little boys with "hands full" of flour could not have done that. As an adult try grabbing a handful of flour. It mostly slides right out. You have to scoop with both hands to get a significant amt. ... these little ones couldn't do that: scoop it AND line it up on the ridge above their heads.

Apparently there are lots of people calling "fake". I wonder if she'll confess to quiet the masses?

I saw it on the Ellen show yesterday. I have no idea if it is real or fake but Lord have mercy I would hate to be the one that had to clean that mess up. I can not imagine Mom purposely doing it and then having to clean it up, if so she has a screw loose.

I agree it was staged. I have seen plenty of messes, but it seems kids get stuck in one place. If it were real it might have been on the floor and one sofa...maybe even drug down a hallway...but no way are they oriented to want to cover every square inch. They would be too busy playing in one pile.

My first and only thought when I saw this was that it was totally staged. My second thought was that it would serve the mother right to have to clean up that mess. Mom was a publicity seeker. I wouldn't be stopping to grab a video camera, you would hear me shrieking a mile away!

Agree it is fake. How could those two little boys reach up to that boat sitting on the tv and dump flour on it, or the picture frames. They might have got into the bag of flour but I think they would have just started playing with it and not scattered it all over.

FAKE, FAKE, FAKE...she is able to get the camera and then she has her omgoshes...I think I would have had them BEFORE I got the camera...plus did you all notice how much flour was over everything else EXCEPT the t.v.? (wouldn't want to damage that expensive t.v., now would we?) That mom is so bored and attention hungry. Give her around of applause cause she is so attention starved. Bless her heart.

Agree it is definitely FAKE - a set up for You Tube - everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame... but setting up your kids for that? I have 2 kids and at no time did they do anything like this!

And you know what - FAKE rhymes with BAKE - does the mother bake? Why did she even have the flour? Does she have baking soda or baking powder?

I know of a situation where children engaged in a similar activity and the parents were high/hung over while the children acted out and Child Protective came out - where is Child Protective Services on this?

"Oh my gosh ...". The mother is the most annoying thing. I agree, fake and 15 minutes of fame. How come the comments are turned off on that video? Could it be that too many people were posting that it's fake?

I think mommy needs help ... of the professional kind.
