How about some goofy pictures today: an armchair in the middle of nowhere... 1200 feet above any real roads... and the 4WD trail isn't easy one to get to this point.

It's in perfect spot to watch the sunset, though

This is the weekend of the big Oyster Festival in Urbanna Virginia, and I thought I'd post a picture of THE Sears Roebuck House in the tiny fishing village of Urbanna. For years, people thought that this was THE Sears House - in other words - they didn't realize that Sears offered 370 other models!

He uses bracketing, 3 shots, then layer masking in Photoshop. His camera is a 21.1mp Canon EOS-1DS Mark 111 .

Thanks Susan....no, that's not Joe. I was out for a hike yesterday and hiked to the top of a very high/steep hill. I was taking pics of the view, turned around and there was this guy on a horse right on top! Not what I expected to see, that's for sure. I asked if I could take his pic and then we had a long chat. He thought I was a geologist, LOL, he said the only reason anyone would be on those trails is if they were studying the rocks. I told him I was geocaching, then I explained what that was.
