Tea tree oil for scalp psoriasis?
Comments (1)I know I keep referring to dogs here, sorry! One of my dogs came to me from the shelter with a raging case of resistant staph - antibiotics would only work temporarily, and the medicated shampoo didn't help much. Someone suggested TT oil (dilute it, it's very strong!) and it cleared the scabs & redness up within a few days, I was quite amazed. It still flares up once in a while, but the oil solution clears it up so quickly & I'd rather use that than antibiotics. I'm not sure about psoriasis, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Were I ever to get some sort of skin condition, I'd try it....See More?? dandruff ....
Comments (5)Just a couple of suggestions. Are you washing your hair and allowing the shampoo to set on your scalp? Some bottles used to suggest five minutes but that may have changed. Then do a second shampooing but rinsing well immediately after shampooing. Wash your comb/brush etc. with the shampoo. Rinse and allow to dry in the sun if possible. Unless you are seeing flakes on your scalp some brushes will build up material at the base of the bristles that appear to be dandruff flakes in the air as the material flakes off the brush. You may need to see a doctor or dermatologist....See MoreEnlighten me about today's stretch headbands
Comments (12)Oakley, I have the ones you posted. They work fine, they don't slip around unless you're doing something vigorous. They also don't pull my hair at all - they just slide off when you're ready to remove them. They have a satin-like feel and I find them comfortable. I also have the narrow ones which are more like a pony tail elastic. They work also. Those hold in place better if you're being active (running, exercise, whatnot), but they also put more pressure on my head (painful if you have a headache, maybe not a problem if you don't?), and yes, they do dent my hair. The only time I wear those is if I'm working out, so I shower after that and don't care about the hair dent. They also occasionally grab hair and snap it as you remove them....See MoreSea Salt Hair products
Comments (8)I'm having scalp and whole body dryness beyond belief. Mild scalp psoriasis but I'm still treating it. My first thought was that salt will dry out the scalp. I looked it up and found an informative article which will help you and your GS decide. It mostly affects the hair and not in a good way if used often. The truth about Sea Salt spray...See Moreyayagal
