This is the mint seedling, which I started from a stem transplant. You can see different kind of white stuff here too. This is kind of attached to the leaves and the leaves are sticky in these seedlings. Coreopsis seedling leaves are NOT sticky. There is also darkening of leaves, I hope you can see it.

DO NOT USE THE PASTE WORMERS ON DOGS!!!! There have been several, anecdotal, I grant, references that there is an ingredient in all the paste wormers that is toxic for dogs. One that I read said that even a small amount licked up off the ground (size of a pea) can be harmful. How harmful may depends on the individual dog, but why take chances? The stuff is probably one of the so-called inert ingredients, that make the paste paste-y, but as far as I know, no-one is sure what it is right now. I think if you Google, you should get a couple of references. I have had no trouble giving my dog the Ivomec injectable in her food, but you can also take the needle off the syringe when you draw it out, have the dog sit, open the mouth, pointing up, and squirt it to the back of the mouth, and then give a yummy treat. If your dog is difficult, try if 2 people work, or give it in food, with a tasty gravy maybe?

Reed Greenhouse has info help that has pictures of leaves with problems and also insects and insect damage. Maybe that could help you identify your problem. I've never had debre on leaves from plants flowering too much unless the blooms have died and dried up. You wouldn't notice thrips on non flowering plants, mostly you see them moving around on the flower petals and a lot of pollen is "spilling" out....a close look and its pretty easy to tell if it's thrips. If you don't think it's powdery mildew either, maybe you could post a picture and we'd have another idea. Do a search on lighting, there have been many posts about how much light, distance from the bulbs, etc. Hope you find an answer to your problem. tish

I am a licensed cosmetologist even though i don't practice anymore but am in contact with several nitpickers which are profession women who get ride of lice for a living.. they come into your home or you go their salon and in 2-4 hours your problem is over. No combing every day for 2 weeks to keep checking for nits etc.. my sisters kids got lice and it was bad..they had all 3 cycles of them growing in their hair..adults, nits, and eggs, and they kept coming back. My sister called my nitpicker friends and they said forget about nix or any of theose treatments because not only are they poison, but they only work for some live bugs..will not kill all of them, and they don't do anything about the nits and eggs. The comb did not miss anything. The nitpickers have not tried it yet because the cetaphil works so good, but said some schools had started to use it and thought it was excellent. So after my sisters ordeal, i now check my kids once a week because if you can catch it early things will be so much easier.
