Which State do you think has the least yearly temperature fluctua

I live in Southern Ontario, Canada and here, one usually needs to turn on the heat sometime in October, often until the end of April. We might get through May with neither heat nor air conditioning. Most of us will turn on the A.C. for June, July, and August. September is similar to May, in that it could be cold enough for heat, hot enough for A.C. or just right and require neither. So we are usually paying to heat or cool our homes for at least 10 months of the year!

During dinner we were discussing which State in the U.S. might have the least temperature fluctualtion throughout the year, requiring less need for heat and air conditioning. Any opinions?
