I love that stuff, I've used it for years. If you lose your drugstore brand to discontinuing, Lancôme in dept store brands makes one, Benefit, Philosophy, and the eye brow expert Anastasia of Beverly Hills, others. Not that you need a department store brand for brows for heavens sake.

Whenever I see one in a light brown or taupe (blonde here too), I pick it up regardless of the brand so I'm never without. Keep one in my overnight kit and backups in my vanity drawers.

I tend to stockpile ;) Find a product or product type I like and I get enough for a couple of years. I don't buy many products but have multiples of the things I like and wear/use those for everything I do.

A salesperson at Nordstroms suggested I buy a serum to help......she said it works well and she used it. (She was very pretty and young.)
And she said it only cost $38.
I declined and told her I would rather spend the money on my garden.
She said she loved gardening, too and had an addiction to succulents.

They also make a clear gel that you can put on, to keep eyebrows smooth, if you have the type that are a bit unruly, which I definitely do. It comes in a tube, like mascara that you can just brush on the eyebrows.

Thanks for the info, Morz8. Department store brands are usually out of my price range, but I'd be willing to splurge on this if necessary. Or put it on my Christmas wish list. (My daughter is great about buying such things for me.)

I sometimes stockpile too--and I don't always remember where I put them. The other day I found a lipstick still in its packaging: Revlon's Lavendare. I don't think it's my color anymore. LOL

I'm going to try this product for sure. As for the unruliness (smile), I keep a child's toothbrush handy to brush the brows straight up and then cut them with tiny scissors. Then, I spray the toothbrush with hair spray and "style" my brows, lol.

Good grief, it sounds like I've got bushy brows! Not so at all but the brushing them up and smoothing them over makes a huge difference.

That mascara will really help, mine are thinning and graying.

I use eyebrow dye from drugstore.com. It only takes 5 minutes every 6 weeks! Love it!!!!

I've seen the ads on tv and thought I might try it since I have "unruly" brows. I thought it was from the chemo but maybe it's just old age. I've always had good brows but age has been their undoing and this new product sounds like it will help.

Wonder if it would be good for those grey hairs one get's as "side burns". You know the totally curly ones? They might get under control AND colored. Hm.

Alisande, would you mind sharing the name of the product. I looked at Maybelline and saw several eyebrow products and I don't want to get the wrong one. Thanks a million.

I just wanted to add that I bought some of the Blinc mascara that was recommended her a few weeks ago. I really like it.

It is the kind that forms little "tubes" that don't rub off or run. It gives a "natural" look IMO.

I put chap stick on my eyebrows when I am alone. It trains them especially when I have tried to keep them the same length by cutting them. Eek! I have been using eye shadow to color them. Would like to try this.
I like the recommendation. I could look better.
