Can you explain the rules/parameters? I'm still wondering how that autumn swap worked. lol!

My Autumn swap went very well, and I am sure the others will say the same.

There really are no rules, just guidelines.
You write to your swap partner and get to know each other. Find out what she likes, so it will help with the gift buying.

You can spend at much as you feel like but I say around $10 or more. Postage can be expensive so filling up a flat rate box or envelope is best.

A Christmas swap would include Christmas items, or maybe something from your state would be nice. Some handmade items are always great too. Dollar store items are fine also.

For my fall swap I did it all with Fall items, but that's your choice. Just have fun with it. Looking forward to many joining in.

We will be mailing out the gifts early December which gives us plenty of time to shop.

I can tell you what I got if that helps anyone.

I received 2 very pretty Pumpkin kitchen towels
a Very nice hummingbird rear view mirror charm. Which I have never seen before and since have purchased some as gifts,
A beautiful bookmark.

Wow the sign ups for swaps aren't like they use to be, is it because $ is tight for so many?

Things are getting tight here also, but I love the swaps...they can be inexpensive if you watch what you do.

I received my fall swap package and what fun. I received some word search books, beautiful thank you cards, a fall pashmina, maple scone mix, candy and a oval tin which I will fill with mini pumpkins and gourds. My swap partner is away so her package will be waiting for her when she returns. I have done the christmas exchange before but it was an ornament exchange. Maybe that might draw more people as it would be more affordable. Satine
