I have finally cooked a dinner, but it's not for us....We've been trying to lose some weight so it's been salads and fruit for a long time. Today I cooked a meat loaf, sweet and sour red cabbage and mashed potatoes but it's going to go to a friend and her husband...she fell and broke her right shoulder in three places and was operated on on Monday. (I'm cheating a little because I also made a tiny loaf for us and will take a little of the red cabbage, too. Yum!)

Roast beef and whatever I can throw together for supper. Good gosh I am almost looking forward to winter because things will slowwwwwww down.
That is so sad, because I HATE winter! LOL

Split pea soup. Slow cooked a smoked butt last night and prepped the rest this morning. Will finish it off with red onion and balsamic vinegar after I've ladled it up.

We are having leftover night to clean out the fridge before we leave. Mostly the meal will consist of spaghetti and meatballs but I have some other bits and pieces to toss out there that sound more interesting than the spaghetti.......But my Dearest Darling will have the spaghetti. He'd like to have it every night.

I had spaghetti squash topped with red bell pepper and garlic cooked in grapeseed oil,and to many spices to name all. :)

I'm going to put pork chops in the slow cooker. Not sure what else will go in with them. I'm leaving tomorrow and that's something that Chad can eat leftovers while I'm gone.
