Posting this now, cause next week will be crazy!!

Its way past time to say a huge THANK-YOU to many KT'ers here for all the help and advice the past 10 months of wedding planning! Wedding is next Saturday (Gwannyto3's is the same day!)

I'm not sure if you would all like to be thanked publicly or not so I will just tell you what sweet,kind people we have here! Maybe they will post and tell me its ok so name names.

One person, right off the bat emailed me privately to offer to do, of all things the wedding invitations!!!!! She not only made them up on her computer and emailed them to Heather and I but actually went and had them printed for us and then mailed them many,many miles to ND! She is a wonderful,caring and lovely person! We have beautiful picture invitations that have surprised many people (we don't see these picture invites here much yet)and I've heard nothing but compliments on them ever since they were mailed out! In fact, now that I am thinking of it I know there was a picture of them (sorta)posted here so I can say publicly, Thank you Stephanie for all your hard work! We treasured it and the invitations were more personal and just what Heather wanted because of you!

Another sweet person offered the use of a card box that she had used at her family's wedding and it is perfect! It fits with the wedding things wonderfully!! She was sweet that she mailed it from a long way off too! I shall return it soon so watch your mail!

A beautiful lady here pointed me in the direction of a place where I ended up ordering my dress! I think its perfect and the girls loved it too. They didn't like my other choices! LOL

Now I also got a private email early on about doing personalized candy bars with the kids's names and wedding date. It took us a long time to figure out if we were doing them or not and did take this sweet KT'er up on her very kind offer earlier this fall. MONTHS after she volunteered to do them! She made them all up and shipped from another direction many miles to ND also!

Then for all the questions and more questions I had there were always you very sweet KT'ers with advice.

THANK YOU so much for holding my hand and being patient these past few months!

I love the KT so much and sure hope I can somehow repay the kindness everyone has shown me!! I've never known such wonderful people in REAL life!!

So many of you have had a part in this wedding whether you know it or not. So feel free to post what you've done and accept my gratitude!

I think we're gonna make it after all!

Jim I am so glad you have had some memorable hummer experiences this year. The migration is still in full swing and I have three here right now. My last adult male left on Sept 1st. and the last adult female departed about a week ago. I have at least one juvenile male and 2 juvenile females but with the juvies until they start getting some of their adult plumage it is difficult to tell the males from the females. Most of my adult birds this year were strictly feeder birds. They were definitely fast food junkies but once the juvies came on the scene both feeders and flowers were in high use. I have an old clothesline that we cut done to be used in a smaller area for the hummers and they loved perching by the door first thing in the morning after they had breakfast watching and waiting and several would greet me when I walked out the door. If I was replaceing a feeder with a fresh one I always had one come right up to the feeder as I was hanging it back up. They also liked to perch on that line and watch me while I mowed the grass or collected flower seeds. Several times they flew up to me when I was removing dead flower stalks to check out what I was doing. A couple of times I had a female come in so close that I could feel the breeze from her wing flapping against my cheek. Remember to keep those feeders fresh especially when we have had the hot dry temps we had this summer. I never leave a feeder over two days as the nectar will start to ferment and if they do drink it, they can get sick. Often times they will just abandon the feeder. Even if you think all of your hummers have gone for the season, please consider leaving those feeders up for at least 2-3 weeks after your last siting as there are still quite a few migrants north of us that are yet to head south. There are large swarms still in Mich and Wisc. and quite a few swarms still over in Ontario from what I understand. If you can maintain at least one feeder until we get hard freezing temps please consider doing so. There are more and more reports of out of territory migrants showing up all the time. There is a Green-breated Mango Hummingbird that has shown up in Wisconsin whose most northern natural range is Mexico. Here is a picture of the Green-Breasted Mango. There have been Rufous in Ontario, Rufous and Calliopes in Pa. so you never know, a stray, out of range migrant could just as easily show up in NY. They are just the most amazing little creatures and I am so glad to see the growing interest in hummers and including hummer plants in gardens Penny

Is there a way to quickly bookmark - or copy/paste all open tabs?

Wow. These are great alternatives. I'm trying them all out. The Bookmark Current Tab Set is very handy - simple - and just what I want to do. I actually downloaded all three bookmark addons that Raven recommended. I'm experimenting with them to see where they place things. I was easily able to bookmark all open tabs from 3 different computers - so I can play around with it this weekend. Jean - I had no idea that there was also a simple drop down option. I just have to see where that puts the bookmarked tabs. Raven - are there any icons that will allow me to place those bookmark add-ons where I can access them with one click. Right now I'm going to the Bookmarks menu - clicking - then clicking the option. I know that's just one more step, but I figured there's likely to be an icon I can just put on my the top (can't believe I'm blanking on the name of that - not the tool bar per se but one of the lines about - like where the file - edit= view - history - bookmarks, tools - help menus are. I have various icons for other addons - like firefox showcase, adblock plus, Wot, Outwit. Is this a matter of whether the add-on develops include an icon to add? Or is there a way I can add one (I didn't see it in options for these addons and don't remember how I got the icons I already have). Thanks. Lynn.

Also, not many folks want to pull the kids from school mid-year and move furniture thru 2 feet of snow. (We certainly don't!) Unless they really really have to. Otherwise, the "move up" buyers will act on convenience. We're hoping that if we relist in early spring we can be at the head of the spring buying surge, if that happens. Might be easier to get noticed when/if there's less stock on the market, and people are starting to plan their summer moves.

Judy, you are leaving your house, and I slept in my new one. Soon you will be able to say this too. We stayed on our camping mattresses in our house. I didn't sleep well. Weird, as I usually sleep well on that mattress, but in a tent. Maybe I should have pitched mine? LOL We spent all day yesterday cleaning (sweeping out cabinets and washing them out). Oh yes, we'll want pictures of the event. We have to see the beautiful bride and groom, and all the other family members. It's almost over Connie. Take deep breaths and try to relax so you can enjoy the day.

You are so very welcome. I had alot of fun doing them and I'm so happy that you all are happy with them, and that people are enjoying them. They're a great way to have a beautiful, yet not so formal invitation to a wedding. I loved them. And the colors were perfect.

I can't believe it's almost time for the wedding. Time really flies. I can't wait to hear all about it and see pictures. I'm sure all your hard work will pay off and the day will be beautifully perfect!!

Oh Connie I thought yours was the 18th ..tomorrow?? Ours is tomorrow at 4:00! We had our rehearsal and dinner tonight. Austin is here sleeping and I am pooped, but have so much to do before the morning still...but here I sit! Was yours orginally on the 18th? I swear I thought it was!

I agree, KT'ers are simply the best ever! Steph, I would like to see the invitations, could you repost the picture if you have a chance? Or should I do a search for them?

I hope both weddings are simply spectacular and meet every one of your expectations. With all the hard work you all have put in and with the help from others, they should!

Yours is today Vikki??? Well shoot I thought yours was on the 25th!!!! Heather picked a day that fell on DS's visitation so ours has always been next Saturday! LOL

Connie; Time sure flies by. I can't believe the wedding is here already. What I really can't believe is that Alex & Rachel's wedding was almost a year ago. We are so happy that the card box will be enjoyed again. If there is anyone else who would enjoy using it at their wedding please feel free to "pay it forward". Kind of like the "traveling wedding card box" Have a great wedding day. Blessings to your family. I can't wait to see the pictures.

Connie, if Miss Maddy really wants to "scatter" petals, I saw some pretty silk rose petals in Michaels. :)

We'd love to use them Lynda, but church says not!
Along with no rice, no birdseed too, which DD didn't want anyway, but the rose petals would have been fun for Maddie.

The KT peeps are the best. What a warm family. I am so glad you posted this nodakgal, although the wonderful things that everyone has done does not surprise me it is so nice to find out everybody's contribution. Wow, amazing.
This has got to be the most talented, and thoughtful bunch on the planet. How lucky are you!
