The funny thing about this pic, is I can bet (pretty safely) that he KNOWS what he is doing on the laptop!!! Little ones seem to pick it up sooooo easy!

Steph, Grant is so handsome and I love it when you post his smiling face. My Great Nephew Joey is one month older and isn't walking unaided yet. They grow up so fast though don't they? I was just catching up on posts from last week and read your Mom's post how you had to be rushed to the hospital. My heart was in my mouth reading it. Am I losing my mind? Search function? Virginia mist

I was wondering the same thing because I am seriously considering Virginia Mist right now and I keep going back to search for your pictures and try to get answers from folks with VA mist. Luckily, I had e-mailed myself the link to that page a few months ago so I can access it that way because the search function doesn't seem to pick it up. Very strange. Anyway, my one concern with my VA mist sample is that it seems to have a zillion tiny scratches in it when I test it with a fork or knife or ball of aluminum foil. I'm assuming this is because it is honed. It's making me worry about this option at all and steering me toward brushed Cambrian black or soapstone (where the scratches can at least be buffed out). Does your countertop show any tiny scratches in the surface? Granted, my sample is not yet sealed. Also, how was the price? Honestly, the quote I got for the VA Mist is almost the same as the price quote I got on soapstone! So I'm wondering if I'm getting taken for a ride here! If it was more in line with Cambrian Black, it might make our decision easier.

grant is such a cutie steph. was he excited to see his easter basket in the morning? i took my nephew, TJ, his basket from us yesterday. he is 2 1/2, and he didn't really care much. just wanted to watch his "bee movie" that i got him. i got him sidewalk chalk too, but kinda hard to play with that with snow on the ground. lol. do you do "the easter bunny"? if so, next year he will understand that and will be a lot more excited. i miss the santa and easter bunny days (and tooth fairy and cupid). thanks, again, for sharing grant with us steph. hugs! tammy

Hi! Thanks for thinking of us. We all had a really nice Christmas. Grant wasn't as into the presents as I thought he'd be. He had so much going on, he'd get fixated on one thing and then not be interested in anything else. I guess pretty normal for his age. My question would be why he is searching for the KT...

Does he just want to send welcome hugs to KT aunties, or does he want to tattle on Mom or Grandma?

I couldn't get mad at him anyway, Connie...his laptop is just a toy laptop. But he definitely knows the difference between his and mine! And of course, mine is much more fun!
