That is what my daughters call my souped up raisins. Take one box of yellow raisins, dump in a shallow dish (glass or porcelain is best), pour gin over them. Let them sit on your counter, uncovered, for about 5 days. I stir them up twice daily, to get them all to the bottom of the dish for a while. The raisins will plumb up, the alcohol dissipate, and then I put them in a glass jar, and eat a spoon full in the morning, and a spoon full in the evening, to keep from having arthritis pain! Google raisins in gin to find out more. All I know, the sulfur used to make the raisins yellow, and the juniper berries in the gin interact, and cause some magic potion. :) How much gin? Well, I went to the liquor store, and asked for a bottle of gin. I was asked, how big... and I said I don't know, I am making raisins in gin. They knew what I was talking about, and sold me a small bottle of gin. How many raisins? Some recipes say 9 daily, some say 10 daily. 10 daily didn't do anything for me, thus I take a spoon full in the morning, and another 12 hours later. Yes, the 12 hour time frame works best for me.
