When I was in high school, our next door neighbor had a Ham Shack in his gargage. Not as neat and tidy as your husband's, though!

I love, love, love, love, love the Ham Stack sandwiches from Marie Callender's. Unfortunately, they've taken it off the menu. Found this out a couple weeks ago AFTER being seated when I'd had my mouth and tastebuds "set" on one for three days... Sigh...

Whenever I tell people he and I are going to a Hamfest, I have to explain that it's not a pork event. :-)

Sorry I didn't get back yesterday. We are both hams but this is his pride and joy. I don't even pretend to know what most of it does. and yes, He is that tidy.........lucky for me most of the time but occasionaly it drives me nuts.

My Mom would have loved it. Way back in the 70's she got hooked on CB radios. We had one in our 1965 Olds. Her handle way Shy Ann and mine was Snowbird. I think she may have seen Smokey and the Bandit one too many times. My Mom had cancer and getting out was not always possible, but she could get out to the car and talk with all of her trucker friends. We lived right in the middle of Los Angeles at the time and she had tons of people to talk with. She belonged to a club of some sort as well. She passed in 79 but I think she would have LOVED the internet. I also think she would have been so happy sitting here at the KT too. We have several Ham folks here. It looks like a whole lot of fun!

mush I just started a new thread addressing you. I showed the picture of your brother to my husband and he looked him up in his log books and it seems as if they worked each other in the ARRL Sweepstakes CW contest 11/8/98 at 00:00......my husbands call sign at the time was Nj1V .......now it's K4XA...John says it appears that is the only time they have had any contact with each other.........
