Excellent. I think Ethan and Jenna from Survivor are one of the teams.

Watching TAR is like traveling all over the world without having to leave home and get frisked at the airport! ;)

I thought Victor was the most passive/aggresive jerk I've seen in a long time! That's what I thought. lol Geez! If he thinks he's so perfect, then yesterday's hike up the mountain for no reason should have been a real eye-opener for him. The gymnastics roadblock? Oy. I'm so glad I didn't have to do that! I remember being on a balance beam before and I hated it. Ladies- we all need to work on our upper-body strength, starting now! That was embarrassing to watch, especially because I knew I would look just as lame-o! lol LOVED the vampire challenge, Woody and I looked at each and shouted VAMPIRE when the tasks were offered! lol OK, so we're just big kids. I play with dolls and he loves blood and guts. And we both liked watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. lol When in Transylvania, do what the Transylvanians would do! Phooey on the gypsys! Why did they want to keep a car carcass? That made no sense to me. It was fun to watch, though. Lots of little funny moments. And I still want to smack Victor, the Perfect. He needs to listen to his sister more. She's no dummy.

Here is one reference to it Lindsey. It's from an interview with Mel White from the father/son team. It has been discussed on other boards also. I haven't followed them (the boards) closely. I just hit upon them when Googling for clarification when I see something on the show that I want to understand. KishaÂs sexual orientation was first revealed in an After Elton interview with Mel White, who was eliminated with his son Mike two episodes ago, in which he also said that Luke Adams wanted to be identified as gay on the show. After Luke "found out that Mike and I were being billed as gay, he wanted to be billed as gay," but a producer saidÂand this is Mel paraphrasing a conversation he had with an unnamed producerÂÂNo, weÂre establishing you as what we want you to be established. Why do you suppose almost everyone had so much trouble carrying that pig? Was it the seasonings and oil they had to put on them? Greasy hands? I was thrilled with the outcome, except I wish the sisters had taken 2nd place instead of the cheerleaders, that Jamie is just too abrasive for me. The line from the taxi manager about not being their personal concierge was a riot, I did expect more reaction to it, though, from the women. I hope Jamie never needs to catch a cab again for the rest of her life. lol And cab drivers everywhere probably wish that, too. And she sure had a tough time grasping the whole "picture on the surfboard" challenge. Did she think all of them should have pictures that made sense? How would that work? lol Tammy and Victor were great, they both really changed and grew and learned how to work together on this race. I have to wonder though, why is TAR using various states of undress so much? Is it a ratings thing? And why couldn't Tammy put on some pants in the taxi? How embarrassing for all of them, really, to be in bathing suits and leotards and underwear in the freezing cold, etc. Just seems odd on the part of the producers. Are they trying to humiliate the racers?

i wanted dallas and toni to win it all. i felt so bad for them last night but i certainly didn't understand why he didn't pursue the cab for his belongings. what happens in a case like that, i guess they have to hang out longer in order to secure a new passport. the frat boys shocked me. unfortunately, because tina is such a mean person, i am not thrilled to see her team win. i certainly feel for her husband. if they win, she'll walk and find a way to get all the money from him. i find nothing wrong with star and nick's relationship. they are loving, respectful siblings. since toni and dallas are out of it, i would like to see nick and star take it all the way. they certainly are excellent competitors. maryanne

I was thrilled to see Ethan and Jenna as contestants. They both went through so much when he was battling cancer.

Right away there was the losing of the passport. I thought - this had to be staged, but maybe not. And already we have the bickering couple which is the brother and sister team. The grandparents? I don't think they are going to make it. They didn't even act like they were running a race, so laid back and enjoying the scenery. :) Double elimination next week.

Yes, the losing of the passport was probably choreographed in and planned. So much of this show is scripted, but I do enjoy seening the different places, cultures and practices.

I think the passport was dropped out of the car. The show IS edited for drama but those girls were upset, and I think that was legit.

We are so happy to have the show back for a 19th season!

I don't think this show is scripted. I am sure they edit for drama but not for plot or outcome. I think the passport was dropped exactly as was stated and as was shown. That issue was a perfect example of how technology has changed our lives in so many ways, ie: the two guys finding the passport at the gas station and then using twitter to locate the owner. That team was lucky that it was not an old lady like me that found it. I'm sure I would have just taken it to the local police station or taken it home and put it in an envelope addressed to the owner.

I think the teams look very good. A few light weights but they all seem to have something good about them. Watching the Grand Parents was painful. OMG...don't over think it! But Grandma did the best with the memory...I was impressed. I wanted to smack the twins...both of them!

So, we are off to another great adventure! I am a happy camper.

Would not miss the show. Just get irritated about football which is always screwing with the schedule..So I always record it to be sure.

Can do without the twins and the brother/sister. It was a good show. Looks to be a good season. (Did Jenna and Ethan really think no one would recognize them?)
