Chicken thighs, leftover baked beans, tomatoes and avocados. I wonder if Patti is visiting Harry in the hospital. I hope it isn't a long distance.

We did some errands today and went out for lunch. Picked up a rotisserie chicken at Costco. Not suppose to be using my right arm so I'm using that as an excuse not to cook!

We went out for dinner to Perkins. I had a roasted veggie platter with two over easy eggs on top, with hollandaise sauce over it. A fruit dish on the side, all was very yummy!

Glenda, the arm isn't as red or as swollen as yesterday. So glad for once in my life I listened to someone. I am such a minimalist, I tend to downplay everything and definitely would not have gone to the doctor yesterday if my friends were not so adamant. I had such great plans for this weekend and was going to get much accomplished. Oh well.

Glenda, roasted veggies with eggs over easy really is unusual for a restaurant meal. I love roasted veggies and the eggs and hollandaise sauce over them makes kind of a sauce for the veggies. It's only a temporary addition to the menu, so I fear that one day I will go there and it will be gone!

I had leftover ribs and bake beans. Hubby had crock pot cube steaks with gravy over rice, roasted veggies (yellow squash, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, red peppers and onions) and corn on the cob.

Glenda, the veggies are zucchini, red onion, mushrooms, sweet red pepper and potatoes. I have never thought of roasting zucchini, thought they would be too "watery." But there were nicely roasted zucchini slices in this dish. The potato cubes are not actually roasted as mentioned on the menu, are deep fried. But still delicious.

The roasted veggies sound really good...

We were so busy today, I was still working in the yard as it was getting too dark to see.

A friend dropped off breaded ready-to-cook razor clams (tribal dug, we aren't allowed to for another week). I had no effort towards dinner at all, clams were dug, cleaned, breaded and seasoned and DH cooked them while I added compost to beds trying to get ready to install some of these things I've had in pots from my former house.

Clams, toast, yogurt and a glass of milk was our dinner but I think we were both too pooped to really care that I didn't even make a salad...:).

Just finished a dish of corn..with pulled pork I pulled out of the freezer and heated.

Hubby had his with potato chips..we both went sans bread.

Our senior group went out last night (Sat) and I had the grilled shrimp, mixed veggies, baked potato and apple crlips for dessert. Really good and fun with the seniors.

We had dinner last night with a couple that we are friends with. They had pimento cheese & crackers for an appetizer & a Caesar salad. We brought cheddar cheese & beer fondue with assorted dippers. It was a great evening.

Ya'll put me to shame! I should cook for myself :o(
