A heartfelt thanks to FlamingO

I'm truly touched. I came home today to find a package on my doorstep from FlamingO. I proceeded to open it and find a bunch of dish scrubbies made by FlamingO's mom which are amazingly well crafted and will get excellent use. Then as I look further into the package, I find a little glass dolphin (my favorite) and on FlamingO's note, she tells me that it belonged to her brother's girlfriend who I know was someone who meant a lot to Flamingo. It really touched me that she would give me this little trinket and memory of her own. Thank you very much. Your friendship means the world to me.

I have those kinds of dreams too, very frustrating to me. And rest assured, Deb- your privacy is valued very highly around here. NO ONE enters a closed door, in fact, if we even see the door closed, we beat feet to the other side of the house to grant even MORE privacy. And we don't use litter around here, all the cats go outside to potty, so factually, your dream was way off! lol It was nice of Murphy to help you out, though. He's a good boy. Lunchy, too, he's huge. Sammie has a bathroom fetish, he likes to sit in your lap while you're occupied. And usually his feet are cold and wet, because he likes to "swim" in the water bowl. Brrrr!

Hi Patti! Thanks, this is cute. I do so open my emails, all the time! I just don't check my yahoo acct very often, but usually at least once a day. I actually did something like this for my plastic flamingo several years ago, I wonder if I still have the photo....I'll have to check! I did it with fabric.

Oh, good, it got there in good shape? I'm glad you like it! I worried that I hadn't packaged it well enough, Erin. Bobbie loved everything to do with the sea, actually she loved everything, period, but most especially sea life. I knew you had a thing for dolphins, a tattoo, right? So I immediately thought of you, sweetie, when I looked at it recently. I have many, many reminders of Bobbie, in fact I'm wearing one of her nightshirts right now, it has a giant fish on it. She will always be special to me, I want so much to be more like she was.

And be sure to use the scrubbies and dishclothes, I can always send you more when you need 'em! You are so very welcome, Erin. I treasure your friendship, too. And I'm still nibbling at my tomato jam you sent me!
