I need to buy deoderant. Do you think I can buy unscented (respiratory allergies if I use scented) REGULAR (skin allergies from the 'invisible' kinds) deoderant anywhere? It seems that as soon as I find a brand/type I can tolerate, the stores stop carrying it. I know a lot of people like the invisible solid, but what happened to CHOICE?

Am also looking for new living room furniture for the house in the country. Have been to several stores. Everything that's out now, is huge, boxy, and the colors are all muddy--looks like every piece was dragged through a swamp. And they're all solid colors (which, as we all know--shows everything). I'm not looking for chartreuse or cerise--just a nice style in a muted pattern in a color that doesn't look totally dismal. I've been to several stores, and the selection is really limited right now.

I'm so sick of 'them' telling us we all have to like the same things. There's nothing wrong with the current furniture trend if that's to your liking--and I've seen some people use it nicely in their homes. But it certainly doesn't go with my retro 50's/country-style home at all.

Guess I'll be saving money, because I'm not buying something I hate just because it's the only option out there. For the forseeable future, my living room will continue to be a collection of odds and ends--the discarded desk chair, my mom's old wing chair, a kitchen chair that's the only remainder to a set we used to have--LOL.

Has anyone else been having a problem with the fact that stores seem to be limiting our choices these days?
