picture frame addict!! I bought a couple of things at garage sales this morning and then started looking around for the right kind of frame and size to use for them. I checked the spare bedroom closet, I checked the utility room shelves, I checked all three shelves in the basement - also two large cardboard boxes full of frames. You guessed it - just never found QUITE the right frame for either of the objects.

If I'm not on here for a couple of days you guys will know that I'm out scavenging again!

Just call me the Imeldo Marcos of picture frames........LOL

What size and flavor do you need? I have hundreds we inherited from my FIL...I've used bunches but WILL NEVER use them all!

Some people would see a bag a beans and others would see a bag of SEEDS. lol My kids taped zip lock bags with beans and a moist paper towel in them to a window at school for an experiment. It's a good way to see how the roots grow. Are you planting beans NOW? I haven't done a lot of veggie gardening but I would think that it's too late in the year for those. Good practice for next summer though if it is. I've been planting more and more edibles and just scatter them around the yard since I don't have a traditional vegetable garden. I've saved seeds from store bought melons several times to grow. Sometimes our grocery store will have unusual melons like casaba, canary or Christmas melons and it's a good way to give them a try without spending much. Do you have a special recipe for 15 bean soup or is it the ones that come with a seasoning packet in the bag?

When every other tree/plant in your little yard gets squished over to one side to make sure the plumerias have plenty of room to stretch out and sun. Bill, when you figure out how to get rid of your neighbor's tree (without getting busted) let me know. My neighbor has a huge ficus that is blocking the sun and dropping some real annoying seed things all over my yard. Vivian

I didn't really find this cabinet (?); I built it 1989 when I was a single sergeant and had more apartment space than furniture funding. It sat against a wall in the center of my efficiency apartment. At the time I kept a swivel shelf on top of it to hold the TV; I could watch TV from the "bedroom" or "living room." I've always intended to build a hutch to go on top, just never got a round tuit. This photo was taken before we moved. Right now it's sitting out on the sunporch, buried in boxes and "stuff" waiting for the house to come together. There is one fixed shelf inside. I put a pull out basket on the left, top shelf to hold napkins and smaller linens.

You should have been here a few months ago YaYa. My DS and DIL went to an auction. There were some frames that DIL really liked. So she bid on them and won the bid. When she got ready to load them she found out she had actually bought several boxes of frames instead of the few they had on display. She had a yard sale shortly after to get rid of all those frames. LOL

I like old frames, if you ever come across though, buy them! They just don't make them like they used to, the moldings are not as terrific.

Oh, same old, same old. We had talked about going to the lake and camping until late Tuesday night, but Twinkie's asleep in the chair (compliments of a pain pill). He had a rough night sleeping, so don't know if we're going, or not. I just kinda float along on the water like a cork these days - it all depends on how he's feeling.

Now we've gone from picture frames to back problems.......LOL
