Couple Baby Pics

Baby Boy (still no name) 6.15#, 19.5" born at 1:39am, 9-6-20. Daddy guessed he would be born at 1:30, I said 3:00...when she moved, she moved FAST! All are doing wonderful! Everything went well. Kalie was AMAZING!!! :)

Haven't even held him yet...but there will be lots of time for that soon!!! =)

SheilaJoyce, motifs are never really my preference either. I really hate all those ends. There were nearly 200 for each of those blankets, but after completing one color on all the motifs, I would go back and hide the threads from the previous color and that way it wasn't so bad at the end of the project. Bored? Heck yes! These blankets were small so it wasn't a big deal, but remember when I posted about the Blue Delft HUGE afghan I finished last year? That thing took me nearly five years to complete because it just made me yawn while making it, even though I knew it would be beautiful when finished. I get bored easily. That's why I have to have several projects going at once.

We once had a mama fruit bat and her four babies hit the window of our home... We had a covered front porch that I put them on, in a box with the lid partially open (I can't remember anymore...but it may have been rainy)...I went back out to check on them later and she was gone...and had taken one baby with her. Later she came back and took them one by one. I think when she hit the window it knocked her out..unless the play dead. But they must have all been okay. This happened during daylight. I was surprised that she was flying around during the day...do they do that? patti

Sweet pictures. He doesn't look very happy in his Hawkeye shirt. I think red would be a better color for him. I hope Mike isn't wanting to named him Herky! I can't wait to see pictures of you and Dean holding him.

Linda...I keep telling them that they need some assorted colors...as in red & gold! LOL Don't think it will happen! It won't be Herky....but it might be something to do with IA Hawkeyes! LOL

Oh, he's so sweet. I just want to pick him up and smell him! Your daughter is so pretty--looks just like her mama. Looks like he'll be a good sleeper (knock on wood).

Yep, Kalie's look says it all! That's the very first thing that I thought, too.

So glad that he's here safely and Mom and son are doing good. Be sure and share his name with us. He's a beautiful baby boy and I know your heart is full today and your tail is draggin'! LOL
