That is how we have been finding posts forever. If someone comes and asks where is a certain post you only have to put the original posters name in the search box or even part of what the topic was about. Such as big boys room or I'll show you mine and anything dealing with that subject will come up.

Yes, I understand that. I just didn't know that the posts were missing and that the KT had disappeared this morning. Sorry if you took it that I was correcting you. I only try to help when I can. I had just gotten here and didn't know what had happened.

Well, I just posted on an old thread to see if it would come back up.

I found it just fine with the search option, posted to it, and previewed and posted.

Nada!

It didn't come back to today's KT.

I just put my user name in search and it came back "There were no matches". I just posted last week or the week before about favorite spice or herb smell. Sniff, I am history, gone, poof, vanished never existed. So long cruel world. Maybe I am being a little over dramatic! LOL
Hope they get KT fixed I sometimes don't get to check as many of the post as I would like and check in the next day.

I've had nil satisfactory results using "Search" - several times I have gotten a lot of stuff that has no relevance to the request, and none that does.

I typed in jasdip, and there was just one match.
I then typed in cutting board, and wood and plastic to bring up my post on Friday asking everyone's preference, and neither has any matches.

this is so disappointing and frustrating. I wonder why they did this, when my vermicomposting forum is all complete.

A lot of my posts and responses to posts came up, but the one I posted Saturday with the dogs pictures did not.
