I have company coming for dinner today.

Marinated pork roast with cherry sauce
steamed rice
spinach casserole
rolls

The other couple is bring dessert so have no idea what it will be.

Haven't thought much about dinner yet, but it will include tomatoes, lots of tomatoes, and peach pie! Daughter and her friend brought over a fresh baked peach pie last evening. The four of us ate half of it while it was still warm, so there is some left for this evenings dinner menu.

Happy Anniversary! My wonderful neighbors invited us over for a party on the patio. BBq ribs and smoked sausages, with veggie kabobs, melon and fruit salad, I made a salad with fresh tomatoes and Vidalia onions. And we had mini lemon cakes for dessert. We had a great time.

DS and I went to IHop for dinner/lunch today. I ordered the Ham and three egg omelette. I've never seen anything so big in my life. I asked the gal if it wasn't a 32 egg omelette. He ate half to make me feel better. And it came with 3 pancakes!!!

Shrimp kabobs on the grill, served on top of a big salad made of all kinds of good things. We're harvesting baby greens and mixed greens from the garden again, so that was a treat. I made a spicy thousand island type dressing that tasted good with the shrimp.

DH is down with a cold and said that it is soup weather. So, take your pick. I cooked my heart out on Saturday and Sunday. I made Oxtail soup, red lentil and lemon soup, beef vegetable soup, green lentil and cauliflower soup, Sausage minestrone with orzo, and Zuppa Toscana. He works from home and this will take care of lunches for a good long while. He chose Zuppa Toscana for supper yesterday.

I bought a slab of pork ribs that I'm thinking about putting on the grill for this evening. I love to sit outside while something is grilling.

Ham slices on the grill with grilled pineapple, honey wheat fresh made bread...and whatever else I come up with before then!

It is a BEAUTIFUL day here!!! Cool, breeze, sunshiney day! The clothesline is full! =)

Leftover BBQ'd meatloaf I had in the freezer, rice for me and taters for DH. Fresh tomatoes and cucumbers on the side. My idea of heaven.

Monica, I bought a little frozen Pepperidge Farm Lemon cake last week for my birthday. It was sooo good!

I have no clue what I'm making for dinner. But it will have corn on the cob I have to use; and okra, squash and watermelon from the garden. I picked two big melons yesterday. One bigger than my microwave, it's the biggest so far, so I weighed it before I cut it: 37 lbs! I gave one to the neighbors and sent half of the big one to one of Lauren's friend's house.

I'm getting ready to head to Krogers and pick up some meat and a few other things. So, some type of meat, corn on the cob, veggies from the garden and rolls. Oranglo melon for dessert.

Roast chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, broccoli, cranberry sauce. Thats enough! no dessert. The best part besides the taste, is there will be left overs cause there just the two of us. Dottie

Smoked Sausage cooked in olive oil with green peppers, yellow peppers,
onions and potatoes. No dessert, DH has boxed cupcakes!!!

Had a big lunch so I am not real hungry. Just put a potato in the oven to bake and I will eat that.
