well this morning I got up and the bigger clown loach is hiding too. He/She was not that way inclined before. Maybe it is out of fish sympathy. haha yah right. We just traded it our near foot-long pleco yesterday for a much smaller one so maybe the new maid scared this clown into hiding. But I can't find them ANYWHERE and this loach isn't all that small either. Must have dug itself into the gravel right at the base of one of the tank furniture, behind it. The bigger pleco is up for first degree murder (or would it be second?) because my large silver dollar died from stress and head injuries as a direct result of being viciously chased. The perpetrator is now tank mate to, among other things, a pugnacious 'lobster'.

Your best source of heirloom flower seeds from GW is in the Farmers and Consumers paper, which you can have come to your door every 2nd week for free! I also grow heirloom plants from seed and I always collect my seed, so at some point later this summer I will have a LOT. Check out the winter sowing forum for a great way to grow your plants over the winter, outdoors. It really works great! Selected Seeds is also a wonderful place to find heirloom seeds. Not all the seeds they offer do well in the South, but that's some of the research you'll need to do when deciding what grows best. That's why the Farmers and Consumers is a great resource! Hi Diane, I was wondering where you were. Congrats on getting the fall garden planted. Now, let's hope for a long, mild fall with the first freeze still a long way off. I don't know if spinosad is still effective after rain, but I'd say it is effective IF it remains on the plants. If the rain was heavy enough to wash it off, you'd have to apply it again. I use the granular spinosad (in Slug-Go Plus) for sow bug and pill bug control and also use a granular spinosad fire ant product and they both need to be reapplied after heavy rain, but not after very light rain. I like kitty cats, but the big ones are annoying. : ) Dawn

Glad you are having a good time. I love blood pudding. Actually they also call it black pudding. It taste like sausage. At least try one bite just to say you did. I love pub grub too. My first DH was from Belfast and I've been to Ireland 4 times. It really is very green. My DD's cousin now lives in England but was home for a visit a couple of week ago. He posted pictures on facebook. Made me want to hop a plane for a visit. Linda
