Great Tina, I will duly note those plants to be sent to you when it quits raining here and thaws there for good in Spring. That is very cool about the 'Jack' memorial planting. Glad to contribute to his honor. Earthly, The puppy is being a puppy! How could you not love him? I recommend lots of chew toys, Kongs are good stuffed with a treat or peanut butter. Maybe bitter apple spray on stuff he's not supposed to chew. LOL- don't know how it affects plants! I'm doing fine. I am taking a hiatus from the swap scene for a bit to concentrate on work. ICK! Am I nuts, or what? DD loves school in southern Cal and just returned there after a month winter break at home. She's wonderful and we miss her, but it's very exciting to see her spread her wings and discover things of interest in and out of school. She thought this program (link) reaching out to pre-adolescent girls would be a good volunteer opportunity and was just accepted into training. She loves going to schools to teach and interact with the kids. Good for her. We are about to get blown of the map with an incoming storm so I'm trying to do all things requiring electricity NOW! And if we miss that Superbowl because of a power outage, which are common out here in the heavily treed boonies, I will be one crazed woman! If everyone would just root for the Seahawks for me, I'd be much obliged. They are accustomed to huge, loud fan support and this game is clearly stacked in favor of the opposition in terms of fans. Time to plug in the rechargeable radio before it's too late.... Even if you hate football, just OHMMMMMM think positively for the home team here: we've never had a team even go to the Superbowl before now. Thank you! She is beautiful, and so is the dress. I remember shopping for my older daughter's prom dress, two years ago. She was very picky, didn't like anything. I took her to a bridal shop and she picked out a lovely, floor-length white dress with a black sash. It had to be altered, but she looked beautiful. I told her I was saving the gown for her wedding, all we would have to do is remove the sash!

I love having company and planning and all the shopping. The cleaning I could do without. We have some kind of family thing quite often and I really do enjoy it. In past years, I have planned and had really great big birthday get togethers for my Mother's birthdays with out door canopies and folding tables, and they all turned out well. We don't have to rent anything as we are well supplied with everything. Most of our get togethers are pitch in and all the family will really bring a lot of food with me doing a lot of cooking as I really love to cook and bake. The last birthday party I planned for my Mother was when she turned 91. I decided to hold it in our church basement and invited all the church memebers plus all of our relatives, many from out of state. It was such a surprise to Mother as she was just in church that day and all these friends and family showed up to attend church and then had this big pitch in dinner in the basement. I have never seen so much good food. It will always be one of my favorite memories. I hope your party turns out well. Sue

Thanks everyone.....she really has me wondering lately!! LOL....but she still is being good just doing little things like this...guess since she never did anything in high school...she is now breaking out?? I really like her better with her blonde hair...but she said Mom I was born with black hair...I said yes Sydney for all of 2 weeks....but it really does match her eyebrows better since they have always been black...weird kid LOL!!
