hi Mrs.H......just wanted to let you know that I spent 2 days in hospital (had 2 days of heart pounding out of my chest,...everything turned out fine,..and I think being on heart monitor and knowing that when I was feeling that way nothing was going on with my heart was a good thing,...plus 2 days not on xanax made me feel so much better!!....doc said that xanax was making me more depressed!.....I now started a very low dose beta blocker and prilosec for my belly ( had this nervous stomach thing going on).....I came home last night from hospital and felt like I havent felt in a month.....slept great after cleaning up my house and cooking for my family (which I havent done in wks.....I know now that xanax wasnt the answer for me and that if you find the right doc in makes the world of difference!.......I had all women docs in their 40s!! so they all knew what I was going through..have a great day all!

Has anyone seen Frog today?

Frog finally came in about 9pm last night and he was wore to a frazzle...had a quick supper and went straight to bed. The morning he was out before daylight, Jan says,"You know that when you give him his $1 allowance he has been having me save it for him..This morning bout 10am he hopped in and said he needed his money, and hopped right out again, didn't say what it was for." I said, "Maybethem women are right, maybe he is courting a lady frog?" Jan says,,"Nay, nothin like that, you know we have at least a dozen female frogs here in the house and he barely pays attention to any of them, save for the little blonde haired one, he seems to like her." "Yea, I know, I asked frog if he had a girlfriend and he said HELL NO..." When I asked him why he says,,"do you know how many kids them female frogs make at a time? If you think I am paying child support for a mess like that, your nuts!!!!"

Went to the Lung DR today....

HUGS Deb!!! I KNOW your pain!! When I was 19 I had my right lung completely collapse...'spontanious pneumothorax'. I was in the hospital for about 5 days with that one. A year or so later the same lung collapsed 1/2 way...a few months later 1/2 again! I had surgery to repair the lung, 'pleurodesis'. HOPEFULLY yours will 'inflate' on its own. Otherwise, they will probably insert a large needle and draw the air out of the area it shouldn't be in. Sounds worse than it really is. They don't do the same kind of surgery that I had done 27 years ago. THANK GOD!!! It was the worst pain...I wouldn't even wish it on my worst enemy!!! (every time I would breathe, it would be excruciating pain!!) But, I am thankful to say, that it has never collapsed completely again. I have what are called 'blebs' on my lung, and they would pop and cause the collapse, I still have an area that they pop, but it (so far) has reinflated on its own many times. Take it easy!!!

Jasdip, I think we all wish there was something we could do to take away some of the deep grief and sadness you are feeling. Even if it turns out that the group is not a good fit for you, I think you are wise to give it a try. There is some comfort to be found in knowing you are not alone, that others are going through the same thing and that they understand your situation and how difficult it is. I am glad for you that Tom left such beautiful words for you to find and treasure. Hold onto that and know that you were and are loved and cherished by your man even though he is no longer physically here to tell you himself. You may find signs of his presence in other ways if you allow yourself to be open to them. In my case, it's pennies. When my mom died, I started finding a single penny in the strangest places. I still find them to this day, only now they are always in groups of three symbolizing my mother, father and brother. I still remember when my sister was sorting through our mother's old papers and photos when she got sucked into reminiscing over the photos and found a slip of paper from a fortune cookie stuck to the back of one of the pictures. She opened it up and it said, "get back to work"! We always took that as a sign from our Mom that she was still around and still being a mom. As always, you know that you can always come here and that there will always be an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on.

I wonder if he's spilling secrets to her. Is he trustworthy? He may be flirting with her. Wouldn't doubt it.

I'm loving frog being your medical adviser -- anyone who recommends M&Ms is on the right track! But listen to your human advisers, too. And get well SOON!

I hope you are feeling better! With the M&M prescription, you should improve tremendously.

It's wonderful that Frog consulted with the nurse on your medical care, but I hope you signed a HIPAA form authorizing them to release your medical information to Frog.
