I love music from the IPod instead of a CD player. I have about 1,500 songs on mine. I arranged them by artist, but prefer to listen to all on shuffle. I bought my IPod and a small speaker system so I would have music while in hotels on my travels. Now that I don't travel anymore I bought a Memorex radio with a dock on it, so I can listen to them The radio has sound as good as my Bose, the Bose has been down graded to the bedroom for an alarm radio. I call music "therapy for the soul".

Those are some good ones Trisha! I'd have been dancing in the foyer too. lol

Weekends, I listen to music on my cable tv. Love easy listening music and lite jazz

These couples have to get up for breakfast in the morning. They are so funny. I feel like a mother hen here. well -- not really, I'm enjoying myself too.

All great music, but my iPod is all Dan Fogelberg. Nothing better in my book.

It's fun seeing what music everone is into......none of what you've mentioned is "my cup of tea", tho. :0) Went 4 wheeling last weekend and one of our group refused to ride with any of us so he could crank up the Reggae! :0) Weird kid!!! :0) and "Rap"? I feel so lucky to have grown up with these songs. And I'm so lucky that we didn't have computers growing up.

I grew up in The Bronx. If we had computers, I don't think we would have watched "The Three Stooges" when we got home from school. I don't think we would have jumped rope.
It took us about a week to learn "double dutch" -- we were very good. Of course, we had to have the right girls from the "block" to do this. lol
I don't think we would have played hopscotch, or played "red rover, red rover, let ?? come over".

We roller skated, we played handball, we had the "Klick Klacks" (someone here has to remember the klick klacks).
And hula hoop. And hopscotch. . I'll never forget the fort we built. It was the best fort in the "hood". Then we had to fight off all the kids on the block from destroying our fort.
It was an awesome chilhood.

We had klick klacks!! I loved them. Do you know they now have "new and improved" klick klacks? Amazon has them and I doubt they'd be as fun as the ones from the 70's!

It was a ball on the end of a string with a small hoop you put over your foot up around the ankle. Then you twirled the string and ball around you and jumped over the string with the other leg?

I know exactly what your talking about Nodagal...it's called a jingle jump and I bought an original on ebay a couple of years ago...you don't even want to know what I paid...I wanted one when I was in 4th grade and Mom wouldn't buy me one...so now I have it...I'm taking it to the next reunion and the girl who brought hers to school in 4th grade and wouldn't share ain't gonna get to use mine...LOL...the one you described came out in the 80's...mine actually fit on the heel of your shoe and strapped over the top...

Trish....like you...I'm forever stuck in the 60's and 70's...they just don't make music like that today...I just bought "Pushin Too Hard" by the Seeds for my I-phone last week...LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT SONG!!!...it makes you want to get up and dance!! and don't forget "Tales of the Matchstick Men" by Status Quo...Sweet Cherry Wine by Tommy James...
