Granbaby pics but will be trouble...........

Okay I have 4 of the babies pics...but Lakota was sleeping and silly me forgot to go in the house and take his pic....bad bad gramma I know.....Anyways ingore the girls hair we got there just as the family was waking up!! LOL so they are not at their best.........

So cute! I think their hair looks just great. In fact, my DD never combs her toddler's hair as she likes the mussed look. Her favorite look is when he just wakes up. I have to admit, with all this curls and hair going every which way, I agree.

You have beautiful grandchildren.

coooofffeee buzz .. lol ... you want an answer to a question for the ages.. WHY IS IT HAPPENING .... the simple answer ... BECAUSE ... cant be more specific ... it is VERY!!! common on transplants .. and frankly.. since its only been 4 years... on a pretty large transplant.. the injury .. could have happened way back when ... or it could be last winter ... though the amount of healing seems to make me think all that healing has not happened in 8 months ... so give up the quest for a reason ... we can speculate until our ears/eyes bleed .... but there is no specific answer .. glad you got rid of the small stuff.. now lets see if you can find the root collar and expose it ... i would be done with watering .... so i would probably remove the drip ring.. if that is what it is ... its time .. after 4 years .. for this thing to be free range... IMHO ... [except for extreme drought] ken ps: is that a borer hole into the heartwood on one of the pix .????

Unless someone is thoroughly familiar with the soil and conditions in your yard, there is no way for them to know how much water is need or how frequently watering needs to be done. It's been said soooooo many times on here, but I'll say it again...use your finger to check soil moisture! You'll want to check both around and in the rootball, especially if the rootball contains soil of a different texture than the soil in your yard. And, you'll need to make sure to get down at least to your second nuckle (at least 2" to 3"). Thorough deep occasional waterings are much better than quick shallow frequent waterings. I don't understand the "2-4 mins of deep soaking" thing. Unless you are using a fire hydrant and have gravel for soil, 2 to 4 minutes is probably not going to give a deep soaking. You said that your tree had been planted for a week, but I noticed you still have it bound up with the bamboo shackles the nursery made it wear. You may want to consider freeing it. It looks more like hail damage to me, or maybe leaf spotting from water droplets in hot sun. Either way I wouldn't worry. Basil growth kicks with plenty of warmth and sun, don't fuss or overfeeed or it can backfire.

Such beautiful children Stacy!! Oh my gosh those eyes and that hair!! Gabe is busy growing! I remember the little girl pics and I think her first haircut. Now she is way past that stage!
All look like Gramma Stacy, but that pic of Chenoah the resemblance to her Gramma is amazing!

Thanks guys....I could "now" be more a part of the family as long as we "give" is how lee sees it and she stands by him...well we will continue to see them and give to the kids...the motorcylces clothes and supplies for Gabe and Levi for school and we buy the kids stuff but no money....as I am not so sure that Lee wouldn't use it for something other then the babies......I am so sorry I forgot to take a pic of Lakota....when we go home again I will....I am calling the school tomorrow to talk to their new teachers to find out how I can send money to the school for extra stuff that normally they don't get to do because their parents don't ahve the money.....like tshirts field trips and I will also buy the snacks once a month that they all have to give...(or at least send the money to the teachers and they will buy them)....I will help my babies any way I can just not give money to Kasey and Lee...they can suffer not the babies.....Stacy

They are adorable children, every single one of them!! Gabe has grown so much and she is a beautiful little girl! I hope the problems can be resolved (both personal and financial) and you can just enjoy being a grandmother to these precious little ones. Thanks for sharing them with us, Stacy. They are all beautiful children. It breaks my heart that their parents don't appreciate the special gifts that God has given them. It's hard to imagine those precious babies being homeless...but I totally agree that you can't keep bailing out the parents. If they end up on the streets, you could probably get custody of the kids.

Gosh Stacy, guess I lost track cause I didn't realize you now have 5 grands! Just absolutely beautiful kids.

I know it's so hard for you under the circumstances and it's great you're helping them thru the school and such..that's all you can do, but it's the best way to help them now.

OMG Gabe was a toddler when I met you all at Cracker Barrel. They are beautiful children. I don't know how Kasey does it though.

Stacy, that is such a good solution, to give the grandchildren what they need directly without having to worry about money being spent in other ways. All the children are so cute too, thanks for posting the pictures!

Thanks again everyone.....I was so happy to see them and sick to my stomach I didn't take a pic of Lakota....LOL i did hold him and visit him then he fell asleep! So then I forgot but dang when there are so many us grammas sometimes forgets....Stacy
