Meatloaf, corn on the cob, applesauce, tossed salad and yeast rolls.

Rain again, heavy all last night & now on & off.

Took it easy today as the hot flashes are killing me.

Dinner was BLT's

My church snacks were a big time hit, today. So many compliments! Even saw men going back for seconds :o)

So I came home and munched on the remainder for my lunch.

chile cheese squares, sour cream mini biscuit/muffins with salami cubes and friend's delicious piece of pound cake she baked.

Now I'm munching on marinated cheese crackers and dried apricots.

I had ham, fried potatoes, and mac n cheese. Comfort food.

I popped into Wegmans to buy some milk and (35.00 later) came home with a ready to eat meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and harvest vegtables. Also have corn on the cob so looks like I'll have dinner for tomorrow also. Glenda, I love meals like you are having. I could live on that and skip all the other stuff.

Hi Pianolady! Now that's what I call a Sunday dinner. Yum, I can almost smell it. I have an uncooked meatloaf in the freezer I should get out this week.

Mary, I'm surprised TN has't just turned to mildew with all the rain you've had. Do you know how many inches altogether you've had for the year? Our paper prints it, but it seldom agrees with the NWS.

Glenda, you were so correct to go with something a little different. We all seem to get in these ruts at times. I'll be happy when I can "munch" again!!

Satine, looks like meatloaf night around here. Again, comfort food for those of you far enough north to be cool. Now I have to get that meatloaf out of the freezer for sure. Hot weather or not!!

We started playing the second day of the tournament in a drizzle but by then end of the third hole we were pretty soaked. The rain was beginning to let up but the pro decided to call it off. I was disappointed because I was playing well and was one up on the gal in first place in our flight but since the day didn't count, I came in second. My fault for putting a ball in the water on the last hole yesterday. LOL

Today we're finishing up the spaghetti and meatballs. I can't believe the size of the portions they gave us to take home.

Picked oodles of beans and tomato's today. Lunch was BLT's and dinner was steak, beans and more mato's. So good.

We're splurging - steak & baked potato along with a great bottle of red wine. It's turned into a bigger splurge than anticipated. I sent DH to the grocery store and he got a coconut cream pie. We rarely have dessert, even when we go out.
