I'm cold. That wind seems to be finding its way into every hole and crack in my old house this morning. I just turned the thermostat up again. brrrr. Need to go out and fill the bird feeders as soon as I do the dishes. I have yesterday's, last night's, and this morning's dishes to do. Thankfully, there's only me here so that doesn't make too many, mostly cereal and soup bowls, and silverware.

Thank you Matti5. I am still working away here in my kitchen. I hope the rummage sale goes well too. Anything I take over and if it sells I give the money to Amber. Cheryl does the same. Cheryl is the oldest and Amber is the youngest with a couple in between :) Tomorrow I plan on making cornbread to go with the beans and some coleslaw, maybe bake some chocolate chip cookies. It just depends on time and energy. Sue

Raven, glad Mom is doing okay. First I better get off my butt, shower and dress. I need to vacuum out my car because I have been moving plants around and there is still sand in the trunk from my visit to the Cape. The ooutside needs a good washing. Funny how you don't see the dirt on a silver car. My beloved dark green Honda showed everything, but I miss that car. I also will head over to the Nature Trail at a local college for a walk in the beautiful weather. My garage needs to be straightened out, too. I am trying to do outdoor stuff before the cold weather sets in, but that won't be for another six weeks. I will yank out a few annuals that have given up the ghost and do some trimming. Every Sunday I have dinner with my mother. She is 96. She does the cooking and we clean up. She is incredibly energetic.

That watermark on Franklin Edward League is so wonderfully white that it's my favorite. Your Liberty Banner looks good. Mine was always very much a red purple, and I gave it to a friend this Spring. Debra
