Our New Gardener & Baby BUMP! pics

Selah just turned 3 a couple of weeks ago...and she loves to help Papa blow the driveway! (she is our 'love' granddaughter!) She is expecting a sister the middle of Oct! This Nana will be busy...and LOVING it!

Mike & Kalie (DD) had maternity pics taken yesterday...I like this one. They have called him Peanut from the beginning and now the name they (Kalie thought) thought about naming him may change....we will see when he comes!

They guys have always joked about them being bigger than Kalie...well, they are loosing now! LOL

Cute, cute pictures! (And gorgeous impatience!). You've got a beautiful family. Question - didn't you say that Selah is expecting a sister? But you refer to the baby as "he" and "him". Am I confused?

kathy..we got ferry winkle from a neighbor..they didnt let her out of her cage to run around the house..they were worried she would get stuck behind something..we let her out atleast 2 times a day to play..luna i like what u said about the areas we create just for our pets in the garden!! they definately act like they own those areas lol. i have a black cat who sits with me in the swing when im reading or just relaxing..in the shady part of the yard.. kathy

Iris... I do love living here. Today I had lunch sitting outdoors in The Orchid Garden.....just a 5 minute drive from our house....can't get much better than that....yes I feel very lucky! Gosh I could make a little room for you Iris in the laundry room if you don't mind sharing with a couple of cats LOL. Lars I will have to go and see if the silk floss trees near our house are in bloom. There is a small municipal garden near the road going out of town where there is a plantation of several trees. I've walked up there in past years to photograph them and don't want to miss them this year if they're blooming now. SharonCb

Our DS had a Husky. Hope you have a chain link fence that's buried a foot into the ground. From our experience Huskies like to roam and will dig to do it! "Dakota" was a very intelligent fellow and adored our DS. He was also adept at catching and killing birds, rabbits, possums, etc. as 'presents'. He was an indoor/outdoor dog. He loved outdoors. I loved him outdoors too; indoors at DS's house was awash in dog hair! It's good you have another dog. Huskies like to be part of a 'pack'.

Selah is not blood related. We help her parents out so they can have some date nights...all Selah's grandparents are further away. Selah's mom is expecting a girl the middle of October. We have been Nana & Papa to Selah since she was about 2 months old.

Kalie is our DD in the pics above, she is expecting anytime really, but probably the 31 if she hasn't gone by then. She is expecting a boy.

I know....a little confusing, I just know that I will have lots of little ones close by!!! :)

Nicknames can stick. We used to call Erin "Nat", and did up until she went to kindergarten. Everyone thought her name was Natalie.

Patti...from your lips/key strokes to God's ears!!! I hope not for her sake!

Because we are mostly mothers here...has anyone suffered from BAD hemorrhoids at the end of pregnancy?? She is really suffering with a major one. She is using cream, cool packs, Witch Hazel over Tucks, warm baths...can anyone come up with anything else? She will call her Dr. in the morning, as these are just not cutting it. Between the swelling in her feet/legs and now this, she is really miserable!!

I ended up having some surgery and if I remember correctly, they had me use a sitz bath with epsom salts several times a day. But I would make sure that is ok to do while pregnant first. Someone on the Health forum recommended ice then cocoa butter.

Please don't throw anything at me, BUT I think Kalie has more than 2 weeks to go yet! I hope I'm wrong, I know how tough it get at that time and especially in the summer.

Selah is adorable and that age is so much fun. How do you pronounce her name -- is the E a long sound? That is the first time I've heard that name. It's very pretty.

You are just blooming with little ones around there!

Selah is pronounced 'Say La'. There is an actress; Sela Ward with the name..different spelling) It has a meaning, but right now I can't remember what it is. Her mother had a VERY hard time getting this little girl here, and they both went through alot. Thankfully this pregnancy is very different and her mom is doing well.

I sure hope Kalie can't throw all the way to your place Judy....she may want to! LOL He will come when he gets good and ready to....although sooner would be better! LOL
