Fur babies are NEVER inappropriate, and yours are adorable. I have also noticed that when it comes to cutting off a head in a photo, it never seems to be the animals. Your human baby has a nice smile though.

I bought the seeds from several different places. I bought two native wildflower seed mixes that didn't specify which species were included - I bought one of those from some box store like Lowe's or Home Depot and one from a local native plant nursery. I also bought seed packets of particular species (Clarkia unguiculata, Collinsia heterophylla, and Erysimum capitatum) from Everwilde Farms. When I buy actual plants instead of seeds, I usually buy them from local native plant nurseries. You can use the California Native Plant Link Exchange to find nurseries near you that sell native plants and to find plants that are native to your local area. That's something I miss about living in a warmer climate. I didn't have iguanas, but the little chameleons and tree frogs were everywhere and they're just adorable. Back from my yearly check-up at the Dr.'s office! Gonna live to take care of the plants & fur-babies! lol! Joyce - two of the six each have one brown eye & one blue eye. The dats I brought from the old place were seedlings that I was hoping would bloom. It worked! :) Doubt if I'll have time to get seed pods before frost hits - but I'm hoping! My brugs are directly in the ground - no pots. Others sink their pots - but I'm not one of them! :) Sue - I have six of the little rascals! lol! I buy an average of three 52 lb. bags of 'Pedigree' each month. And then you have the vet. He's gotta get his share! :) neonposey - Will that be through USPS, DHL, or UPS? :) Hong - All are registered Siberian Huskies! Haven't posted pics of Shanley or Logan yet. :) Brandy - I'll stick a few seeds in your package - as I have a few from last year. Just remind me via email!! Linda - Noooo! Not the fur-babies! :) Elizabeth - I'm leaving the brugs 'put' this year. Not digging a one! Hopefully they'll be up next year! Keeping my fingers crossed! Lucy - They rough-house with me! lol! I checked my records and weighed them all today. She weighs exactly what she weighed 6 months and a year ago..13 pounds. And I found the year I rescued her..2002 and she was 7 or 8 then so that makes her around 16 or 17, I guess. I was glad to see she hadn't lost even a pound, but Henry now weighs 24..up from 21. Everyone else is around the same. Actually last July Nellie weighed 12.6 . She might be due for a check up to see about the thyroid.

All gardens need kitties to help the gardener pull weeds. Mine, MoMo and LuLu, are a big help. The twine around my legs and rub on my face and put their tails up my nose LOL.

butterbeanbaby..i know exactly what u mean loco likes to hide in my hostas and pop his head up and "talk" to me..aj i think we have the prettiest cats ever!! loco has the best personality!
would love to see pics of both of yalls kitties!

kathy..tinky and foofer are adorable!! arent they just so much fun? our ferry winkle loves to attack our bare feet when she is in her playful mood..loco and her like to wrestle with eachother..

To think I was scared to death of Tinky when my daughter brought her home. They are our babies now. When my husband is at work, he always emails to see what they are up to. All they want to do is play and love you. My foof has gotten a little chunky since that picture. She's only 6 months old.

They are all adorable! Ferrets can be a lot of fun and are smart as whips. And of course kitties appreciate garden junk as much as the rest of us! Don't they truly appreciate the lovely benches and chairs, lovely shade spots and restful sunny areas you create and arrange just for them?

kathy..we got ferry winkle from a neighbor..they didnt let her out of her cage to run around the house..they were worried she would get stuck behind something..we let her out atleast 2 times a day to play..luna i like what u said about the areas we create just for our pets in the garden!! they definately act like they own those areas lol. i have a black cat who sits with me in the swing when im reading or just relaxing..in the shady part of the yard..
