alisande...I looked it up, a total of 14 people have died on that pass. It's one of the 2 ways into Crystal, where the famous Crystal Mill is. The most photographed site in Colorado.....There is a snow bridge and the local lore of "you'd never make it"....that for a 4x4 owner is a ya gotta try it proposition. :0) Crystal Mill, Crystal Colorado & Snow Bridge(you can walk across the snow year round to cross the river)

I love the pictures.....I really look forward to seeing the different ones.... Those beans remind me of our's last year...I thought I had planted bush beans but when they started to grow and then reached up and attached themselves to the tree next to the garden, I knew I had made a mistake...I thought we were going to have to climb the tree to pick the beans....But they sure were good.....

The tree guys said that that beetle wasn't responsible for the tree dying, a different (and much smaller ) beetle, a pine borer was at fault. In July you could stand in front of the house and hear the bugs munching away on the tree behind the house. The other bug, the green and brown spiky caterpillar, one of the tree guys found with his elbow. As in he bumped the leaf it was on, and felt a strong stinging/burning sensation. I knew what it was because I had researched stinging caterpillars a couple of weeks ago when I found one with the back of my neck. Although the one I found was a different species that looked nothing like this one which is called a Saddleback Caterpillar.
