Mine isn't nearly so adorable. I took this yesterday of my Kentucky Wonder pole beans climbing up the ice house window. I nailed strings to the top of the window--a desperate move after procrastinating about setting up a more permanent support system. I planted late because of our crazy weather (and more procrastination). :-)

Those beans remind me of our's last year...I thought I had planted bush beans but when they started to grow and then reached up and attached themselves to the tree next to the garden, I knew I had made a mistake...I thought we were going to have to climb the tree to pick the beans....But they sure were good.....

Vicki, Your shrub looks like it might be Hibiscus syriacus 'Amplissimus'

Freedom is also a similar double one.

June's hollyhocks.....

I think it's a Rose of Sharon too and it will grow as big as a small tree if it likes where it's planted.

Those ducks just stole my heart. We used to raise mallard ducks years ago.
