I know it's frustrating, I can use the picture function fine from the pc and one tablet but not my newest tablet which is the one I use daily. Hopefully this will get worked out and our beautiful pictures of the day will be here. In the meantime here's my latest garden flag that is out in the flower bed. I had to get it from a website and put it in my ideabook to post it. Whew a process!

A new pic, taken today....Here's my latest purchases for the new house. Closing on it Monday and doing a whole house remodel. It was built in 1963. (Kohler shower & tub faucet, mirrored curtain rings, ceramic built in soap dish/we're using plain white 4"x4" tile, purchased and sitting in another pile, Keeping the white pedestal sink & cool retro faucet already there). Nicole, I love to drive, but I would run the other way! Do they have many accidents on those dangerous mountain roads?

alisande....there's a famous "accident" on "that" pass. 12 people died! The pieces of shale your driving on slide under your tires and since the road is slanted towards the gorge drop off.....and the BIG river. Story is the driver set the parking brake, it was wet & didn't hold. The vehicle slid over the edge, the vehicle was trapped in the jagged boulders & everyone drowned.

That doesn't even look safe enough to WALK on!!! But what a beautiful area. Thanks for sharing that. And the other pictures are gorgeous as usual. Nice way to start the day.

jasdip.....the hummer pic "is" what the road looked like. :0) Here's one of a stream crossing we did to show how high the water was......the bridge was "OUT"....literally on 2 bridges...this section is before the road gets bad.....(sorry...I haven't photoshoped the glare out of the shot)

Afternoon snack that our butler brought to us every day on the recent cruise to Alaska. There is also a fresh fruit bowl and caramel cookies on the table. Yum.

Horrible accident, Nicole......I'm amazed anyone drives on it.

Nice deer, though. And peppers! And everyone else's pictures, too!! I wouldn't mind being in that boat Casey photographed......

alisande...I looked it up, a total of 14 people have died on that pass. It's one of the 2 ways into Crystal, where the famous Crystal Mill is. The most photographed site in Colorado.....There is a snow bridge and the local lore of "you'd never make it"....that for a 4x4 owner is a ya gotta try it proposition. :0)

Crystal Mill, Crystal Colorado & Snow Bridge(you can walk across the snow year round to cross the river)
