I know what you mean,, no matter how much you love your kids, you really need some adult time or activities. I cherished my boys (2) but when our daughter came along, I had so much fun buying 'girl' things. sounds like this mother-thing comes natural to you. Thanks for the update.

Working from home sounds good, especially that it's just a couple of hours a day.

In my preschool class we have purses and baby dolls too, and the girls love them. Sounds like I need to bring in some high heels for the dress-up corner.

That is a great opportunity! Can you choose your hours, or are they set? Either way I know you can make it all work, and it will be a different kind of stimulation for you.

When my DD retired from her job, they immediately offered her the same thing. . . work from home a couple hours a week. Seems to be a trend now and a win/win for everyone.

Don't get to too busy to keep up the updates, though. ;-)

I worked at home when my DD as little. It was great but difficult at the same time because she wanted all of my attention 100% of the time. However she is my only, your dd's have each to play with for a bit while you work.

I think that especially now with 3 little ones that you definitely need something of your own. I already think you are an awesome Mom, but having something of your own, will make you even better.

I will get to set my days and hours which is perfect. It's been so nice because Tanna and Trace are buddies and Tayler loves to watch them play and they are so good to her.
Right now they are coloring pictures for Daddy to hang in his office. I still have to watch Trace because she thinks coloring and snack time are one in the same.

If you have a limit to the amount of family time you're allowed, and you work 2-3 hrs per day while on leave, see if you can extend your family leave time by the hours worked. So, for every week that you work 5 days x2 hrs, see if they'll let you add 10 hrs more leave time at the back end of your leave. My employer allows that because while you are working, you are technically not on family leave!

Just want to pass on an idea for you to do with Tanna just before she starts kindergarten. There is a child's book called "The Kissing Hand" by Audrey Penn. It is a story about a young raccoon that goes off to school for the first time and is afraid that he will miss his mother. She gives him a way to help him deal with leaving her. It is a great story and one that I always read the first day of school with my kids and their homework the first night was to tell their parents about the story, (but the parents had the story read to them at the "BOO HOO" breakfast that the PTA held for them so they knew what to do ahead of time.) If you google the title, there are also printables that you can use with her.

If you are interested in the reading, alphabet, etc websites that I mentioned before, I would be glad to share them with you. They are really fun for the kids to do online.
