Hands down, this is THE most used room in our house! And I didn't tidy up.

We go through this room to get to the garage. There is a bench (with shoes/boots underneath) and hooks above for hats/coats. There is an overflow fridge and upright freezer that hold all of my "travel magnets!

Walking in from the garage you see the sink and cabinets/washer and dryer. My step-stool is usually folded and put away, but I had it out so that I could get my canning supplies down from the cabinets.

I only have a laundry closet. ) : It's also the place for cleaning supplies and other "stuff", as you can see.

My laundry room is small, I wish it were bigger. I'd like to be able to keep the vacuum cleaner there and bottles for the water dispenser instead of on the basement landing. I'd also like to have my deep freezer in there instead of in the basement.

Looking in the door:

To the left. I only bought that print a couple of weeks ago. My oldest sister turned up her nose at it, I guess it doesn't "match". I don't care, I like it.

To the right. I got those baskets a couple of months ago, they are great for hiding all the cleaners and little things that pile up.

I've actually been wanting to change out this room. Getting REALLY tired of the fishing/lodge theme. Sure would like some of the extra work surface you ladies have. More storage would be nice too.

This is like photo-fly-lady! I confess, I tidied up a bit before photographing!

My laundry room is so hard to photograph because it's small. So you'll have to suffer thru several photos. Judy, don't be scared! I'm enjoying these posts, though, it's fun to see your houses, new and not as new.

This is from the bathroom, what you'd see from the computer, looking thru the bath, and into the laundry area. I painted this several years ago and still enjoy it a lot. I need to get some white contact paper and make these 2 pieces match better, it bugs me a lot.

Opposite that is a table with all the pet foods on it and a window overlooking the side yard. Bath to the right.

Looking from the kitchen- and there's a pantry and opposite that is a table where the phone used to be above it. The dog's water is kept under here. I guess you could say it's a pet/laundry room.

Where the blue turtle bag-bag is is the door to the back deck, also has a window in it.

Oh... now I have laundry room envy! lol You people with all the cabinet space!

Here is a picture of my shelf in the laundry room. (These are old Mason jars I rescued from a recyling bin.) Just imagine a white washer and dryer below it and on the other side a big closet. That's it!

My laundry room is upstairs...the only thing I carry up to it is blankets and sheets from the basement and towels and rags...most all the laundry is upstairs...so it's really convenient...The previous owners had a ton of kids so her husband built in these cabinets and each kid had their own basket and were responsible for putting their clothes away...I added a bar at the top of the cabinets to hang stuff on and painted the woodwork and added a shelf over the dryer for my Mom's old iron...I got it when I moved away from home in 1973...it bit the dust but I can't throw it away...it was my Moms!! The washboard on the wall I carried back from England a few years ago from a junkstore...I think I paid a 1.00 for it...their major expensive at the flea markets here. I wish my washer and dryer would die so I could get some of the new ones like ya'll have!

I found this picture while searching for laundry room makeovers a few years ago...someday I'd love to paint my laundry room like this! Even the rug on the floor is painted on!

Here is my laundry room. It's more of a laundry alcove as it's just off of the dining room/kitchen area and the back door opens into it. I LOVE it though. It's on the main level and that is the best thing for me ever. I want to paint the walls a different colour but I'm not sure what yet. Maybe something bright?

I love all of your laundry rooms! I would love a giant laundry/craft room. That's my dream. Don't I dream big? LOL

Oh, I am so jealous of your laundry rooms!! You'll see why when you look at my picture. This is my laundry alcove as it looks right now. We're in the process of remodeling so I can move my laundry machines out of the basement and up to the first floor.

The walls are going to be bead board, painted "Bulgur Wheat," a very muted yellow. The ceiling will be bead board, too, painted creamy white. The floor will be vinyl in a wood pattern. It really looks like wood!

I bought four feet of wall cabinets at Green DemolitionsÂbrand new for $100!

My laundry room is also DH's bathroom. He has a 42" shower and of course a sink and potty in there. It is just inside the door that comes in from the garage, where he spends most of his time. It keeps a lot of dirt from getting further into the house. It is tight, but works.
