Well, Vique, yesterday I made squash panckes, a big family favorite. But usually I either slice and steam them or cook in chicken brothÂeither as a soup or drained as a side dish.

My SIL has a great recipe for a casserole with sour cream, but I try to avoid saturated fat.

Bigack, the pictures of the animals look like the ones my brother in law has in his shop...He's a taxidermist and has every thing under the sun on display...In fact, he has several bears......

Vicki, nice spider shot. Those black widows are sure scary. I just found out that here in CA we also have a brown widow--a less agressive but more poisonous spider than the black. They have an egg sack with little spikes sticking out all over it, and I saw some of those in my pot ghetto, so I'll have to be careful!

A lurker here with a question!
What kind of plants are those in Socks picture? I have one that was given to me, and would like to find information on it. This is the red ones that kind of look like a peace lily.
By the way, I love looking at all the pics here! Someday I will learn how to post pics and join in.

Oh Moni, isn't Glacier N.P. the most beautiful place? I want to go back there sometime.

Wonderful pictures today.
I was able to drive through Glacier NP back in 1974 but have never had the chance to go hiking there. It is such a beautiful place. Maybe someday.
