Dh and I decided quite some time ago to try to set up another computer in our unfinished basement (mostly for my digital pix, I work on them sometimes...LOL). We found this old discarded desk yesterday....it was a "heavy trash-day" throw-away. We checked it out and it didn't look too awful so we brought her home and set it up. Not too bad for a beat up old desk and a nasty basement.....LOL. (See the bed to the left in the pic....thats my "hiding place" whenever we're having those confounded tornado watches and warnings...LOL). ~Kathy~

The Toadflax looks a little like snapdragons. Do they snap?

Here's a shot from Vancouver. They are actively preparing for the 2010 Olympics. The logo is the little man on the sign. It's called an Inuksuk, and it is usually formed from piled-up rocks by native peoples of the area as a landmark.

Gosh you Guys did a great job today.

Backak, I'm gonna save your picture. When I get back to water coloring I may try to use you pix as a reference. I love painting porch scenes. Not that I'm a great artist. Just a novice.
