For 10 years, I've traveled and collected pictures of Sears Homes throughout the country. For 20 years, I've been a writer.

Now I have three websites and three blogs, and my favorite thing is to have a chance to post all those photos of Sears Homes,WITHOUT AN EDITOR breathing down my neck! :)

Having the freedom to write about something I love - and sharing it with the world, is my "favorite thing to do on the computer."

I am the administrator of a group called Bestlawn's. We create graphics using Paint Shop Pro and have a lot of fun together. Luv, luv, luv KT.

Over the years, we have been friends/acquaintances with many people in many places, but have lost touch. I sometimes wonder where they are now. I found a site where I can type in their names and find out where they live. I can go further and pay to get their addys and phone#'s. but I don't. I just wonder about them. I also play some games and of course there is the KT.

Well....I tend to look up items I've already purchased like the 50oz containers of coffee mate(purchased @ Bargain Mart). I wondered what it really retailed for......yeah I look things up AFTER I buy them!! ha ha Then the ususal, stocks, booking vacations...email...jokes..daily horoscope...decorating layouts to get ideas....gardening ideas....etc...:0)

I'm a google lover.......it seems that so many things come up that make me curious to find out more about them. But my regulars, of course, are the KT and Book forum, and Garden Junk, etc. etc.

1. Check my bank balance.
2. Check Email.
3. Read home town newspaper (The Buffalo News).
4. Spend the most time on KT.
5. Occasionally read Flylady or Step Out of Squalor. When I need a boost in housecleaning.

On my laptop, I hangout here at the KT and a few other forums, check Facebook, do a little eBay'ing, etc. My desktop is now used mainly for doing computer crafts (Angel Feather Ornaments, Glass Block Lights, I make Videos using pictures from events like births and weddings.

I play Jewel Quest, Zuma's Revenge and Free Cell and a few others off and on. I also research a a lot of subjects. I visit here 2 or 3 times a day, but don't stay long, just look for threads that interest me.

Computer Help site. I would not be able to keep this PC running without their help.

KT, the only fun forum I come to. Too many other ways to spend my time.

Joamn, no, I am just the administrator. The originator of the forum gave it the title because she was good at telling people how to grown lawns!! She left it in my charge a couple of years ago. Anyone wanting to learn or show their talents in PSP is certainly welcome.

kayjones....2 stores sprang up locally. Both have bargain in the name. They mostly sell food, like....dented cans,soup missing the paper labels, or the local farmers surplus watermelons and cantaloupes.....some of it is really CHEAP!!! .50cents for salad dressing by Girard($4.50 at a supermarket here). :0)

Nicole, thanks - I would love to have a salvage store near me! When I lived in K.C., Mo., we had a Freight Salvage Outlet, which later changed it's name to Cargo Logo, but you could get awesome prices on dented, scratched and discontinued merchandise - I really miss it!

I work on my computer at home.

What I do for fun on the computer is use Google Earth to virtually travel to various places around the world, which is great fun. Love looking at tiny islands in the Pacific, residential areas in Japan, remote places, seeing how/where other people live.

Visit KT...Garden Junk...and scrabble on Pogo...and look up cutey blogs with chic thingies ....Mary

I am usually online at night and spend my online time doing family research, Facebook and reading recipes. I also love going to Wimp.com and StumbleUpon.com if I am really bored. Of course I check into the KT. If I remember I check my email but more often than not I only check my email once a week. I also check online for vintage Pyrex.

I would love to do our banking online but hubby says "no" to much money in the bank.. He is from the old school.... Oh well.. I do the email thing, facebook,just look up stuff of interest. I love the KT and come here every morning to see what all of you are up to. Susie

oldgardener, traveling virtually sounds like fun. Different cultures was a bonus to my travels. I am interested in the culture of Asian countries.

I don't know that I have a favorite thing.

I check several news sites.
I research.
I check Ebay.
I shop.
I play Sudoku.
I read a couple of message boards.

And my latest plaything is a software program that lets me turn photos into cross stitch patterns with floss color charts and symbols. Having fun with that.

And I update my website.

1. Addicted to "free Cell". Play it while my computer finishes booting and Norton does its initial housekeeping.

2. Genealogy research on my family.

3. Designing gem stones, and checking the quality of other cuts to access canidates for cutting (Faceting). Softwares employed are GemCad and RayWin.

4. Tracking the investments inside my IR5.

5. Searching libraries for solutions and algorithms to technical problems.

6. Searching for hardware.

7. Locating objects of interest to photograph such as scenics, water mills, covered bridges, light houses, unique barns, etc.

I have to limit my time on the laptop or time gets away from me and nothing is accomplished.

Favorite things? Wow, so many... Some of the top ones off the top of my head:
 Staying organized. Taking notes, reminders (don't miss birthdays, anniversaries, income tax deadlines, bills due, etc.
 Surfing, forums, etc.
 Research & learning. I like learning new things and it's perfect for that. Also don't need phone books anymore - less clutter. Also can look for events, lodging, etc when I'm going to be traveling.
 Keeping up on the weather and breaking news. Watch radar and track storms. Get the data needed to do my forecasts.
 Check gas prices (saves money)
 Check store ads. (saves money driving, saves the cost of a newspaper)
 Online bill payment. (saves $25-$30/yr in postage & expenses.)
 Email
 Faxing
 Document creation - no more liquid paper. Keeps things more organized too and less paper clutter.
 and yes a few games occasionally.

I use my computer a lot. It's my command center.

Reading is what I do most. I come to the KT several times a day and I belong to a couple of cross stitch boards too. For a while I played a game called Runescape. My DH and both boys are gamers and at one time we all played. I really only started so that I could see what my kids were doing. 7 years later I am still there. The boys have moved on to WOW and DH plays Star Trek. I also dabble in ebay and I love to play with my camera. So I horse around with photos a lot!

Besides all of the above I like it when during the night I can get up and see who was the original star of a certain program or is so and so still around etc . or check the address of a long lost buddy
